i only have one Zoids, my first. It's old anyway.
coilspring not working anymore.

Whoa no no... This was a sentimental gift from a very good friend of mine way back in 1995 before we depart. It just happen to be my first as well as one and only Zoids i ever had. I got a few but i didn't keep because it came from Japanese Bubble Gum Boxes. (Jap bubble gum boxes are big... 3 times the size of Ding Dang boxes, usually contains some kits with sprues, about RM8 to 15 bucks each at that time)

FYI, this Sandspeeder coilspring not working, pilot is good condition, the seat joints which connects to the bottom/main engine was broken since 1996 but wielded back (never broke again, i dunno what happen, it was that way when i got it), the 2 guns attached to vehicle is loose. This thing can still move if the coilspring is replaced but not as perfect as it used to be. Back then as kids... we usually just sprung the coil as hard as we could, til it malfunctioned.

Anyway, it fits my display box.

I decided to bump here coz i also realized there isn't a lot of people collecting Zoids.

When i got this sandspeeda first time, inside the box there is this ad featuring deathpion, i swear i will find it tho until today i haven't found it. Since it was in my stash of antiks, i forgot to follow up the Panzer Tier and TDP ones in 2004. -O-

I saw the 1999.co got waiting lists but not sure if really got or not. HLJ label them DISCONTINUED. I love the 1/24 series coz it appealed more to me. TDP Deathpion in Jap is auctioned at 12000-9800 yen today. Megatropos for this Sandspeeder? My gosh, only you guys can understand how it felt. I am not giving up that easily.

hi guys, my deathpion TDP just arrived in good shape. but got a few things i want to say.

i bought it from leoshop, was fast, although the shipping i had to pay more, i also had to say the customs held it for more than a week, i ordered on 1st June, only today 15th June arrived, it was flown from TW on the 3rd June. anyway, i am happy with the shop.

the TDP ver. of Deathpion... only the package was 90% similar. It had stickers and didn't had the extra cap like the ones in Panzer Series. What i noticed:

1. TDP sprues got 'made in china'.. why! why! but the parts don't have.
2. Color of plastic is kinda not so dark, my sandspeeda is a darker (i don't think it's due to old age...) i can repaint.
3. Plastic thickness is same. I hope its hard too like the OJR
4. Box, manuals no sign of 'made in china'
5. Box size similarity 90%, the OJR you can see the pilot inside.


ah anyway i am satisfied. however... OJR Deathpion or Zelve Zargam still on my list!

6. Difference with Panzer is no extra 1/20 pilot and extra alternative cap for deathpion.
7. Eyes and sensor is blue. Not orange.

ah anyway i am satisfied. however... OJR Deathpion or Zelve Zargam still on my list!

btw i terus built my TDP Deathpion, took 6 hours including chiseling and photos. I noticed the plastic is oily, some white parts, turning abit yellow. Got some 'chocolate stains' too, i really dunno what's that. Overall everything was ok, every parts fits. Anyway since it's 'Made in China' ( i think all the NJR are like that now) I am gonna paint it.

Oh i haven't test run the thing yet.

Regarding the logo, i think i ll do some designs and see how. if you use the 'Zoids' sure have to put 'TM' or 'R'. I share the same opinion with ahtiven, don;t think the @Me looks nice.

ooo... nu wunder yellow. then again the red blotch on my kit, got a few drops look like either blood or chocolate. is that the oil too? I didn't took pic coz didn't really bother but it is dark red, i just scratch it off.

ah now i see, it's like the warhammer kits, tat means, havta brush it really well before painting. The motor part not so oily. Grease is ok for me.

lol, yeah lets put it that way, its better.

oh, i was wondering too if it will crack like most kits, like most WWII tanks, the rubber caps does crack easily over the year. my sandspeeda has no rubber caps. thx, i almost missed that part of your post. will look out for it.

hmm, zoids doesn't sell those rubber caps as spares?

Here's some rough idea. i havent see zoids anime yet, were they 4 factions? i only know of helic and zenevas.
Btw, i prefer shirts without collar.

oh, i forgot, its supposed to be ZMFC, Fan-Club, i forgot about that. btw i jsut design that in 5 mins, its very rough. hey thanks for the logos and pic sources, i was having trouble with that. the zoids i wanted to put the logo outlines only. sorry i was rushing.

regarding the logos, i forgot to grayscale it. i prefer black and white but i think red wont be a problem. i forgot that color will cost more.

@EDMAESTRO - it's that liger? btw ... is that 'part' (upper left pic) broken?

Here's some ideas, actually if too many logos i don't think look nice, but if the logos on the sides maybe look better, however 2 logos on side may look abit weird. anyway the idea of having 1 pic of kit is nice at the back but it will be costly.


'glow in the dark' molga is nice to put at back of shirt. haha.

i think i prefer simple ones, not sure want to put all the logos in or not. i prefer like wat Vincent said, 1 shirt 1 logo, it would be nice to wear our fave factions but i think to cut cost, universal and simple would be better.
