QUOTE(onepack @ Mar 27 2009, 04:30 PM)
shirt prob.. drop the carlsberg name

Far as I know there has been no official mention that this is a problem if the match isn't televised.

QUOTE(onepack @ Mar 27 2009, 04:30 PM)
player prob.. drop the jewish from following the trip

Seriously, I'd rather them not come if this were the case. I am not selfish enough to expect the club to compromise their morals. I'd much rather pay to go down to Singapore. What kind of message will the club be sending to it's players and fans if they were to leave Benayoun behind? A team is a team regardless of colour and ethnicity. I for one would rather he not walk alone.

QUOTE(onepack @ Mar 27 2009, 04:30 PM)
i believe its all up to LFC themself... believe they would prefer go to singapore for their south east asia market/fanz
they also got stronger fan base there..
Thailand has a stronger fan base. In any case Singapore isn't that long a journey. Not when it's to see our heroes in the flesh.

Honestly, if you wanna joke, please go somewhere else because I'm very sure no one is laughing at your dumb joke.

And asking us to "understand" you? piss off!

Nah you know nothing about fooball gid.You don't understand what he was trying to say.

He was trying to say that their manager, AF is mean enough to leave behind a player for the sake of the money, something our club won't be able to do wink.gif

I bet he don't understand what player morale is about.

Oh wait..Clearly he didn't...He mixed up moral and morale together. wink.gif

QUOTE
Valencia midfielder David Silva has emerged as Liverpool's principal target for the summer transfer window, according to reports in the British media on Friday.

David Silva and David Villa are hot properties.

The Spanish star was part of the squad that won the 2008 European Championships in Switzerland and Austria and is viewed as one of the best young players in the game, and Liverpool are believed to be ready to make a bid of around £20m for the 23-year-old.

Liverpool's chief scout Eduardo Macia, who took a teenage Silva to Valencia, has reportedly been in Spain to view the attacking playmaker who can play on either flank, with the Reds' owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett ready to fund a deal.

With Valencia's debts known to be of considerable concern - they stood at £462m last November - Rafael Benitez will be hoping to take advantage of the precarious financial position of his former team, with Los Che already claiming they will have to sell players in the summer.

Silva was subject to an inquiry, along with striker David Villa, from Manchester City in January and were told the combined cost of the two young Spanish internationals would be in the region of £130m. Although Villa may account for a large portion of that.

Juventus, Real Madrid and Barcelona have shown an interest in Silva in the past and the player himself is believed to favour staying in Spain; although he may be persuaded to join the swelling ranks of Spanish internationals on Merseyside that already includes Fernando Torres, Xabi Alonso, Jose Reina and Albert Riera.

I'd be delighted if we signed David Silva, he was quality at the Euro's and is still only 23.
