QUOTE(b00n @ Mar 15 2009, 01:30 PM)
nay, any team in the quarters are dangerous. At least Bayern mentioned that they would rather not meet us.
I'm just thinking that if we meet Le Blues again....wow; that would be epic!
wow......so lucky I'm not there.
My car plus drunken look would have been easy pick.  tongue.gif
Anyway, was in Shemelin and blardy got conned to bet for all night expenses on drinks without knowing that we're 1 down. (was on the way)

it seems like all team preffer not to face us in the next draw out!
are we that scary?? or too dangerous? thumbup.gif thumbup.gif rclxm9.gif rclxm9.gif rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

Kopites watched their side spank Real Madrid 4-0 on Tuesday before clinching the club's biggest win at Old Trafford since 1936.

"It's been a good week," said the 35-year-old, who was signed by Gerard Houllier in 1999. "I was just asked if I've had a week like this before and I couldn't think of one since in 2001 when we won a few cups in one week."

Liverpool are four points off top spot with nine games remaining following the 4-1 victory over Manchester United.

The leaders also have a game in hand, but Hyypia insists no one in the Anfield dressing room will stop believing in their title dream until it becomes mathematically impossible.

"We needed to win this game and we did. Everyone is happy with the result and I'm sure a few of the other teams will be happy too," he said.

"It's been a fantastic week but United are still four points ahead with a game in hand. It's going to be difficult to think about the title but we'll keep fighting until the end and see what happens.

"We can't control how they do so we just need to concentrate on ourselves and hope they drop some points.

"If we didn't believe then we might as well stop the season now. You have to believe while ever you still have a chance. We have to do our best and win our games, and maybe Man Utd will drop points in some of their games and we can take advantage."

Hyypia started the game as a last-minute replacement for Alvaro Arbeloa, who hurt his hamstring in the warm up.

The big Finn revealed afterwards that he had just a few minutes to prepare.

"I found out just a few minutes before we came out," he said.

"I was wondering how the first minutes would go but I got into it and had no problems."

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson reportedly refused to give television interviews to Sky Sports before or after Saturday's crushing 4-1 defeat to Liverpool in protest at the kick-off time.

Liverpool had an extra day to prepare for the crucial match at Old Trafford, which kicked off at 12.45pm on Saturday, having played Real Madrid on Tuesday evening. But United did not play Inter Milan in their Champions League tie until Wednesday evening, meaning Rafa Benitez's side were presented with extra recovery time.

The defeat was United's heaviest on home soil since Queens Park Rangers handed out a 4-1 thrashing on New Year's Day in 1992.

Sir Alex Ferguson is no stranger to boycotting television station, having not spoken to the BBC since 2004 following a documentary which investigated his son Jason's business dealings as a football agent.

The match was always likely to have a lunchtime kick-off due to the intense rivalry of the two teams involved, though it is thought Sir Alex wanted the game to be played on Sunday to give them an extra 24 hours recovery time.

In 2006-07, the match was played on a Sunday following a round of Champions League games. On that occasion United had played FC Copenhagen on the Tuesday with Liverpool playing Bordeaux on the Wednesday.

When Ferguson did speak, he remarkably claimed United were the better side.

"It is a hard one to take because I felt we were the better team," he said. "That is not reflected in the scoreline and quite rightly, when you win 4-1 you get all the plaudits. I can't deny that."

this might be quoted before but still i want to qoute it!
damm AF!! he is just another loser (although he is still respectable on as a so call "1 of the successful manager in england") but yet! he just another loser by complaining on
