Great and I got conned by Maxis again

I guess Maxis iPhone 3G users such as myself wouldn't be that happy. Let's just wait and see on how it goes

I think they are going to do something like Shuffle , whereby you press and hold it says what's the current song and such That would be soo great

I guess I fell for the trap . Anyhow , that's why I kinda hate with apple products. For sure 2-3 months after I've bought a product, there would be a new and improved version of the product

Anyway , I think they'll be making use of the new headphones , which has remote (aka volume controls). It would be easier for us to control the volume by using the volume keys in the new headphones rather then pressing it in the unit itself

well, i haf one question. wat are d chances of maxis releasin d new iphone simultaneously with AT&T? i doubt it wil be immediate. if ur gonna depend on parallel imports, be prepared to be slaughtered. so in d end, we MIGHT not be gettin the new iphone in june. n if judgin by maxis's iphone, we might be gettin it afta sept. so its not all doom n gloom for new iphone users. Tech waits for no man, but if u keep followin it blindly, u might get one massive hole in ur wallet. wat i say is just enjoy d moment n if u like d new iphone, sell ur current one n buy d new one. fullstop.

It's 150,000 units before Apple agrees to sign you up as their telco partner. Safe to say they get shipments in that size should the current stockpile has been exhausted.

I wonder how the reaction is, of the current Maxis iPhone owners if they are locked out of upgrading to the new iPhone this July, and Maxis only opens subscription of the new iPhone to new subscribers only.

Probably would rival the Bersih Rally in terms of "passion" and "aggressiveness"!

New iPhone will be great however like most people here I'm not convinced maxis will bring it in July.
If they do, good for us!

Just do a quick check on Singtel (Spore) tehy haven update any iPhone 3G S yet...no news from them.

I live in the UK and have the 3G iPhone here on the o2 network.

o2 have released their prices for the 3GS.

On the 18 month contract I signed for with the 16GB 3G, the phone cost £149.

The 16GB 3GS phone is £185 on the same plan for 18 months.

So it's about 20% more expensive for the handset (but no difference in the plan).

The 32GB 3GS is £275.

So it's about 90% more expensive for the handset -v- the 16GB 3G.

So as a general rule I guess you can assume that the handset price in Australia will probably be about 20% more than the 16GB 3G for the 16GB 3GS. And probably about 90% more for the 32GB 3GS. Other than that, the plans may well stay the same, just the initial cost/ongoing monthly phone repayment cost will increase.
