In app purchase, new business models, P2P connectivity, accessories can now talk through the Dock, built-in Maps for developers, Push Notifications finally arrive, cut copy and paste, landscape mode for Apple apps, Messeges app for MMS.
Voice Memo app for recording audio files, Calendar gets CalDAV, Stocks app gets more info, Search across all apps and iPhone OS gains Spotlight for certain items. |

geo-milano, I know that you're excited with the new updates on iPhone OS 3.0 but don't spam this thread.
Hopefully this firmware will remain free, you'll get to see this version alongside when they release 3rd-gen iPhone in June/July. The best thing is, this is not the end for the features in the firmware so there's more to come. |

normally firmware upgrades are free for iphone. only ipod touch users will have to pay when there is a major upgrade. just when i tot i can use back my old bluetooth headset but oh well

Looks like I'm gonna have to get the 3rd gen iPhone if it's out this year.
I can definitely see the firmware lagging on my 1st gen iPhone. Don't think the processor and memory's up to it.. |
