hm... that could actually be a good laptop to consider, cause it has HD ratio, and its not too big, 15.6" but then again, it has a 9650m GT...

much cheaper compared to the 6935...

well... if it was priced at Rm4500 again... it won't be able to sell right? and actually it really didn't change much, so the price drop lor...

i thought of choosing the benq........but the budget have to be cut.....

since 2nd is not an option,which mini consider ok ? dell 10, hp mini,acer mini ?

basically the laptop for browsing,typing report and listening to music.counter strike ? my sister is not game freak......huhuhu....

well, u can consider Compaq CQ40, AMD Turion x2 + integrated HD3200... iirc it's abt rm1799... go lowyat take a look... though integrated, graphic is still much better than Intel's GMA...

but its a freedos no? unless you use win 7 RC you have to buy one (and erm... using win 7 RC only delays time to buy a new OS)

1.7k ..it hard to find one notebook, but netbook got a lot, try to look compaq or acer brand.

main thing ere..im buying 2 laptop.
1 just for surfing n typing..
another one mainly for multimedia n designing..

Rm1.7 k and Rm2.3k ..... HP Compaq Rm1.7k is enuf for surfing n typing .... not sure if Rm2.3k spec can use for designing.

y not 1 for both???

haha i ask the same thing, but maybe is for relative? anyways... netbook would technically be sufficient for surfing and typing, but small screen. And liddat we have another 2.5k to spend, i think the COMPAQ CQ40-402AX best option lor, 2.4k with upgrade of RAM and 3450

well then, how bout the BenQ S42? P8700 9600m GT and its oni 14.1" so its mobile... and erm... if you really use the battery, there's the GMA X4500 option (cause its hybrid) at its below RM4k.

Downside no official drivers for 64bit, but you can get those modified by DOX

he spec really tempt. unfortunately the 4k budget r for both..
