1.some ppl prefer brand like imac while some like spec.. basically depends on wat type of ppl're you
2.there's no good or best brand
eg.like acer a lot ppl complaint it but how come so many ppl complain it.Do you everthought of it because it's the best selling ! more ppl buy more ppl complaint .you can't expect every product 2 be perfect sure got some faulty 1.Do you know the learn the manufacture faulty curve ? actually is all based wat U wan 4 your lappy n your budget like for gaming?photo editing ?programming? Runnning Open GL software.

Do some research 1st n think wise which lappy suits you the best

Hi,my friends is keen on having Asus lappies 2 .they both prefer 14inch 1.

1.budget<3.5k,purpose multimedia, a bit gaming , Fast processor (perferable 2.4ghz)faster then 2.0ghz

2.budget<2.5k,school-work(mostly papper work)integrated gc also nv mind.

But with budget 2.5k 2 gt a C2D with 2.4ghz ? I don think so ...the most is integared gc if gt also the brand mostly be Acer....

ya Asus is bringing in new models to M'sia which is the k-series 1 the budget should be around 3.3~3.5k procs with 8700...N the models wil be coming be4 the pc fair which is at the end of this month

The best spec price ratio would be studio 15 with proc P8600(2.4)& ati 4570 going 4 branded then would be Asus N50Vc or F81Seor even toshiba M300 with that budget
