Crxr has done this right infront of my eyes for a colleague's iPhone 3G. Less than 30 minutes. Call that number Beavis just posted just now. I can vouch for Crxr's expertise in this.

you got your set from Maxis right? just send it it for warranty. not sure about how long it will take for you to get back your phone though.

I actually got this phone from Maxis Centre Ipoh so for my case I can actually bring it to any centre in KL right?

just sent it to maxis n they will change or repair for u..... case close...

any maxis centre will do yeah? scared it will be out of stock =( few weeks back b4 i get my phone they don't have anymore stock (MV and Cheras's outlet)

guys, i jz noticed this a few days back when i tried to install the bodyguardz on my iphone 3g...
when i remove my case from my iphone, i found out that the left side of my iphone,
the silver part and the black part doesn't fit nicely...
did u get what i mean?
the right side is very nice and smooth but the left side the silver and the black part doesn't seems to meet each other...
meaning that the silver part pops out a little making it look like a crack there...
is this normal or not? i bet its not normal right?
can i claimed warranty from maxis and demand them to change a new set for me?
please advice...

Let me answer your question or questions of the like, sometimes appearing here, with a pinch of salt.

I go and ask my lawyer whether a I can sue my wife for not cooking for me and his reply is anyone can take a suit against anybody but whether he or she is successful is up to the relevant authority to decide. So, anyone can try to claim for warranty but whether Maxis will allow a change is up to them. Hope you get my drift. Cheers.

mine is 16GB i have yet to go to maxis centre to ask but I went to The Garden's Machines to enq and the guy just pressed real hard on the phone near to the silent button and it worked. But the button to increase ringer volume is loose. >.<

Let's just say that if the problem does not affect the functionality of the phone, U probably won't get to change the phone. Anyhow, no harm trying.
