QUOTE(air @ Jun 14 2009, 09:11 AM) Hers is maxis unit, yours is? Added on June 14, 2009, 9:24 amwell i do have buyer remorse until certain level caused by two ip3gs upgrades: improved battery life and process speed which i wished for a solution for batt life. Nothing more and nothing less... Well at least for the battery life, you can swap the internal battery pack to something of a higher capacity. We do have battery maintenance service offered with a higher capacity pack no? Of course, it won't be original. But then the warranty period may be well exceeded when the battery dies.

It has been proven in some cases that refurbished units are better than new units. She is my friend, so I get to hold hers and compare it with mine. Added on June 14, 2009, 6:10 pmApple engineers put more time to assemble the product properly thus the percentage of hardware issues are small, rather than assembling it in a large quantity in the factory where QC is not being done at all units. Only Maxis supports the warranty, not Apple.

QUOTE(XiuKeong @ Jun 15 2009, 03:12 AM) I want to know whether the upcoming iPhone only available via Maxis contract? Sorry if I posted at wrong place. The new iPhone 3G[S] will be available shortly and that will be next month. For more information you can try our stickies and FAQ. No iValue plans have been revealed by Maxis for this new iPhone yet.

QUOTE(babymiki @ Jun 15 2009, 09:17 PM) anyone knows which maxis centre still have iphone available? lolx A lot of centers do have them. But keep it to the major ones and also at prominent locations like shopping center. Official Machines store also have stock. They can do Maxis registration too (if not mistaken). Also there's a RM20 voucher for you to spend on accessories and others.

QUOTE(air @ Jun 16 2009, 09:04 AM) Well, thanks for your offer, I will consider that when my warranty over + battery = half-dead d... Hey sorry... what I actually meant was we (the community) do have people offering such services. I don't own a business or offer such services. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
