when you create a new message, just press the camera icon. you then have the option to take a picture using camera or pick existing image from the camera roll.
anyway, i still didnt manage to send and receive sms with digi. not sure if i put the settings correctly or not. |

Hello,
I'm a foreigner, i'm planning to suscribe to a iValue Plan but I have some questions about how works these plans and some points are not very clear for me. ![]() Let say that i'll take the iValue 1 @ RM100 / month. There is free 333 mins to local calls, is it including to mobile phone or only to land lines ? Then 10sen / sms I don't really understand how it works. - I pay RM100/month + 10 sen /sms OR -I pay RM100/month and then if i send more than RM100 of sms i pay more ? EXEMPLE i send only 100 sms a month so RM10 of sms. at the and of the month i'll pay RM100 OR i pay RM100 + RM10 ? Other question, is there the same options as hotlink ? live active10 (1sen /sms for 10 numbers) and stuff like that. And is it possible to transfer my hotlink number to the maxis iValue Plan. Thank you. This post has been edited by Gz': Jun 19 2009, 02:40 PM |

@Gz',
The 333 minutes of free calls should be applicable for landline + mobile calls as long as it's local calls. SMS charges are separate at RM0.10 sen p/SMS. It is over and above the RM100 iValue Plan. Y don't U wait for the release of the iPhone 3G S instead? |

@Gz',
If that's the case then don't bother signing up with the iPlans. Go for a Value Plan. Assuming you go with RM50 Value Plan, U only pay extra when ur total bill exceeds the RM50. Within the RM50 U get to use it for calls + SMS + data. If U want to fully maximise the iPhone and think you're going to be using a lot of data connectivity, then subscribe also to Maxis' RM99 Unlimited Data Plan. PM me if for clarifications if U need anything. |

QUOTE(davidgary73 @ Jun 19 2009, 01:19 PM) Sorry David, I've been MIA from LY forum for moons already until yesterday. Planning to get the 3GS but didn't want to switch to Maxis, hence I need a confirmation that Iphone bought from Maxis could be used on other telcos w/o the need to software unlock as mine current 2G is kinda unstable when software unlocked.What's the normal procedure for activation, izzit to activate it with a maxis sim card and then could use with other telco sims? Thanks. |

Just pop in any simcard and it will work. Even did jailbreak a Maxis iPhone 3G unit and works the same may it be DIGI, Celcom, Umobile simcard. As long as it is offcially unlock, you're good to go. Same thing even if you travel overseas.What's the normal procedure for activation, izzit to activate it with a maxis sim card and then could use with other telco sims? Thanks. @jonest,
Your guess is as good as mine. If you're really interested in getting an iPhone 3GS, look up stringfellow; he's got 1 space for 1 more unit; coming in from Rome @ EUR 715 (32GB iPhone 3G S) |

QUOTE(tinkerbel @ Jun 19 2009, 03:23 PM) @jonest, Saw his posts, but EUR715 @ RM3521.70!! I'll pass it... All we could hope that Maxis or Singtel or even Apple HongKong won't be that scrupulous (I meant Apple Italy)!!! Your guess is as good as mine. QUOTE(tinkerbel @ Jun 19 2009, 04:00 PM) @jonest, If it's RM715, I'll place the order for at least 5 units, so every1 in the office would be using Iphone!!! yipppeeeeee .... it could only happens in a couple of years, when they launched the 5th or 6th gen Iphone, then the 3GS would become obsolete model....It's uhm.. 32GB ! |
