Custom firmware.
Most probably your chef had disabled the Samsung Dialpad, do the below to activate the Samsung Dialpad and you'll get your Video Call back.

Go to registry: HKLM\Security\Phone\Skin\Enabled and set to 1. Wait 20 seconds and soft-reset.

They don't support custom ROMs, so don't bother.

I went to Samsung Service Center today, to check out the Omnia II. They quoted me S$898.

While inside the service center, since there are not much people, I asked the Tech whether I can change my Omnia i900 screen.
After checking his PC, he found that my i900's garantee had expired in July, but still asked me what's wrong with my screen.
I told him there's nothing wrong, no scratch, no damage, just heard others said that the new screens are better, so I just ask for fun, since I got nothing to do here.
He took over my i900 and poke the screen a few times, then tell me okay, he'll change it for FREE.

ADDED: Forgot to mention, he didn't even ask about the Custom WM6.5 Firmware.

So after one hour, I had a new screen and an Omnia II from another shop which sell to me at S$838.

Truely, the new screen is slightly more responsive.

Screen is bigger, sharper, nicer.
Startup a bit slower. Like HTCs.
New TouchWiz is nicer also.
One additional and very useful app is the Midomi, a music recognizing software, which Sector of XDA already extracted and ported for the i900s.

Since the i8000 is the successor of the i900, I think it will definitely be better.

Haven't really use it yet, just started it's first charging tonite. And I'm still busy flashing and configuring the Omnia i900.
Will report back when I starts using it.

If any of you are visiting the SSC, there are a few display set there where you can play around with it.

Of course no regret, even if there's no different, I still got a new screen.

BUT.....since I went there without prepare, I took out the IS on-the-spot with the intention of installing it back. Without anything to contain the IS, I asked the Tech for a plastic bag and he kindly gave me one with some printing on the surface. So I just paste all the IS pieces onto this plastic bag.
When I reached home and wanted to install the IS back. all the printing on the plastic bag got stuck onto the IS pieces and can't be wash away.
Wasted the IS, but earn a new screen.
Since I've no time to go purchase a new IS, I still haven't take out the protective sheet of the new screen, but it's already starts to peel off.

A report regarding Omnia II.

Remember the standard Omnia i900, whenever we answer/made a call and the screen will turn off when we put the phone by our ear and it will stay off until we press a button?

The same for Omnia II, but once you move the device away from your ear, the screen will automatically lights up and there's no locking of the dialpad.

I went there to check-out the Omnia II and just happened that there was no queue and those Customer Service Officers are so pretty , so I press a number for the fun of it.
To my suprise, she's willing to give it to me FOC, so why not.

Yes, we can do that with the Omnia, but you'll be wasting the battery.
Wherelse for the Omnia II, it will turn off the screen, but once you shift it away from your ear, the screen will wakeup without the need to do anything.

Of course. 6.1 had been around since a long time and 21054 is the newest 6.1 core. Surly it is better, quicker, more stable and reliable.

Startup your Email.

Click on "Menu", "Tools", "Options", "Your email account name", "Download Size Settings" and on the "Message download limit"'s dropdown list, choose "Entire message".

Flankly, this device had been in the market for more than a year and it had proven itself. I don't think it need that long period of warranty.

It could also be the setting of your server or email provider. Try using other email providers and see if there are any such problem.

Start your Garmin and stand under the open sky for 10 minutes.
KL to Singapore is quite a distance, so you'll have to give more time for your GPS to locate the satellites.
