Thank you, for the confirmation. I guess Hard Reset is the only way to go. Now got to find a day where I can squeeze some free time to do all the set-up.

hi.i plan to get an OMNIA. some questions to be clarified.
1.can i backup the msg in .txt or other format like my current symbian phone do? 2.how long does it takes to get the GPS signal? 5minutes?more then 10 minutes? i mean without A-GPS. 3.can i turn off the camera snapping sound? thanks alot for whoever sifu to answer my questions..  |

omnian<--- the firmware is the newest but corrupted. now try to install again but after device verify it still detect newest firmware detected, how to overcome this? thank for your assistant.

Corrupted? And you can start your device?  How do you know it's corrupted?Just try Hard Reset and see if it's okay. BTW, what is your present firmware? PDA part and PHONE part.
