i 'lost' some of my favorite songs in iTunes (in PC). i think ive deleted it (but couldnt find it in recycle bn) but luckily still available in iPod.
my Q is...how do i restore my missing songs from my iPod??

on the day i forgot 2 lower my brightness, i went from 100 to 77 in 12 hours...just calls n sms only... no apps, no safari...

Thanks nokia, but yesterday i tried to backup and perform the restore on my phone...seems like it not only fix my downloading problem thru wireless from apps store, it seems like battery now last longer than it usually use to be. Standby for 1 day and 10 hours with 3g turn on, location services on, few minutes of games, 23 minutes of usage, roughly from what i see at the battery bar still have 95%... looks like one stone kill two bird for me.. ...for those who have battery problem, maybe it might help u fix it.. try it at your own risk...

Guys, I am trying to upload new ringtones. I have converted a few mp3 and wavs to m4r using iRinger.

The thing is if I drag the files from explorer to iTunes > devices > iphone > rintones folder, the files are transfered and listed in iTunes successfully but when I view either in alarm or ringtones configuration, it is listed quite weird.

Only 1 file is successfully transfered and that same file is listed all the way. Let say I transfered 10 ringtones, it will only transfer 1 file but list the same file 10 times. Yes, I have tried playing the files and all of them is the same one.

Is iTunes or Iphone buggy?

Please don't ask me to use the jailbreak way since I don't want to jailbreak my Iphone for now.

wanna ask something, lets say i buy an iphone from the US, and i bring it back to malaysia to jailbreak it. will my phone have any problems?

Usually i write all important things in iphone's notes..

If i restore my iphone.. is it all will be erased?
If yes.. how can i save it at my pc? Or make sure the notes all not erased??

N i dun see any sync notes in the itunes..
Any1 can help?

when you back up the iphone it will save the notes, sms contacts etc, dont wory because i have done it many time,

and also its better to read pinned thread because a lot of info there,

I'm having iphone 2g,the problem is when the phone is lock/sleep, i press the top right button to unlock it but i can't 'slide to unlock'. However, if i press the lock/sleep button again, now can slide. Inside got no problem with touching at the same area. I absolutely helpless with this matter. Anyone encounter this prob before?

any iphone users here konw whats the problem with it??? coz its really frustrating when i cant slide the button to receive calls...sometimes need to press the power button then only can slide to answer the call.....but sometimes nothing can be done....

You need to do the hardware network unlock for this. Please refer to the purchase Iphone faq for more info.

If you follow a guided jailbreak instruction, you shouldn't have any problems. Just to be safe, unlock it in the US itself so you could insert your own sim card when you touch malaysian soil.

iPhone 2G running on FW2.2, sometimes when i plug it into my pc, open itunes..the silver pineapple logo appears and stuck there like forever. What is the problem? Should I upgrade to 2.2.1 to avoid this problem?
