I'm using iPhone 3g, not jailbreak, fully unlocked. I've a problem which when i access to apps store to download / update apps, after i clicked on install button, the loading part on the applications just stay there without any progess. Worst still, can't even delete from there unless sync back with itunes to complete the download. The loading will be like hang without anything, after reboot the phone, the entire icon is blank. I'm using F.W 2.2.1. Anyone faces this problem? I've tested with my wifi..safari is ok...no prob...

QUOTE(nokia2003 @ Apr 19 2009, 07:41 PM) do not attempt to download/update more than one app at a time. I've already tried to download just only one app at a time..still the same...only loading.... |

QUOTE(nokia2003 @ Apr 19 2009, 08:35 PM) i have the slightest clue then. Thanks nokia, but yesterday i tried to backup and perform the restore on my phone...seems like it not only fix my downloading problem thru wireless from apps store, it seems like battery now last longer than it usually use to be. Standby for 1 day and 10 hours with 3g turn on, location services on, few minutes of games, 23 minutes of usage, roughly from what i see at the battery bar still have 95%... however if i could add, i used to have this problem when i was using a d-link wireless router (totally hopeless i tell you). but ever since upgrading to a linksys, it has been cool for me. |

QUOTE(LizStephenie @ May 1 2009, 11:11 PM) its ok, nothing to be sorry about...^^ I face the same problem with you when i tried the same method as posted...however there is a trick..here is how i resolve it...so, does anyone know other ways to disable the EDGE/GPRS other than the APN technique? doesn't want to jailbreak my iphone if possible...... 1) start up your iphone with non maxis SIM (digi, umobile, celcom) 2) once started, you should be able to go to the (General -> Network -> Celular Data Network). There is where u can key in 'disable' to disable the 3G/EDGE. But wait, don't key in yet with ur non-maxis card still inside. 3) Back to the page where u can still see Celular Data Network, right now, eject your SIM card and swap it with your Maxis SIM now. Once swap it in back, only tap the Celular Data Network. 4) If you previously have updated the Carrier Settings, now you will still be able to put in disable or some other words other than unet, maxis or wap. Once everything is key in, go back to your home screen. Time for testing. Test the Weather channel, Safari etc.. You will received the error, you are not subscribe to the celular data network service etc.... |

QUOTE(scoringmachine @ May 4 2009, 08:40 PM) Since both ur SIM cards are also non-maxis..i don't think you will face problem in changing the APN. The cellular data network should be always available. This method are for those who are using maxis SIM |
