i cancelled astro about a year ago too

its just that i find downloading a hassle... plus my streamyx sux big time, just like astro.

if got HD channels for EPL i may consider subscribing astro back

watching EPL now on astro is really pathetic

now the sports channel...i prefer Eurosport....the Korean Satelite Dish got 24 hour Thai Boxing channel....

nop...not many sport channel...Astro is better....the satelish dish from Korea only have DDsports channel focus on Asian sports...asian football,netball,etc.....no winter sports..

i thought so.. coz EPL is licensed.. and anyone who broadcast it supposed to pay.

As i know from an Astro staff all their source of videos are in HD format just that the broadcast format is in MPeg2.

eg the Astro On Demand series are broadcasted in HD in HK, but when come to Malaysia, although broadcast in real time, the video become SD...

somemore gotta pay so high price for it

the raining issue i heard its a worldwide phenomena
unless we switch to a bigger dish
but thats gonna cause inconvenience to some ppl especially those living in apartments

ya.. the drama can buy original from store too..

i remember bought 1 set (4 disc) for RM26, quite ok la the price

but the stupid thing is, the disc is full of stupid advertisement!!!! pay $ to buy the DVD somemore forced to watch the advertisement!!!

Astro lost RM500+ million last year. That is about 1.4M a day in average. They screw up big time in Indonesia.
HD Upgrade? the only upgrade we would get is the increase in subscription fees laugh.gif

they can't even afford to pay the license for HD streaming. how to upgrade? this is what happens when you let a stupid company like astro monopolize the cable tv business. so similar to tmnut, isn't it?
