@jinaun: Wouldn't a better setup be 4870x2 on top?
*
good idea.. as you can see.. the setup is pretty tight.. the 4890 was grasping for breath...usual idle temp of ~58C climbs upto 65C++..

i think i'll put the 4890 at the 3rd pcie slot(bottom) and the X2 at the first slot (top) so there is more space for vent

Not that desperate for cash, will never be that desperate for cash tongue.gif

I'd do it non-profit, but the design's not the hard work (making it fit on to the sticker is)

Guys, Asus 4890 provided this SmartDoctor voltage tweak program.

After tweaking the voltage, do you guys usually leave that voltage tweak as long as your computer is on, or just for gaming?

Any other disadvantages at leaving 1.4v forever, other than wasting electricity $$$

1ghz core clocks needs oni 1.375v vgpu bro, no need to set it so high, it'l only leads to higher temps and power consumption

Chip might grow "soft" after a few months, needing even more vGPU to run at 1Ghz.

Use the lowest voltage stable for 1Ghz as recommended.

Managed to achieve 970/1130 on an Asus HD 4890 without any voltage tweak yet.

Gonna try adding voltage tonight.

This is the results I managed to get before tweaking the voltage.

how's your temperature like. but 970mhz is actually not too bad already, 1ghz is more rare.
