Maybe try Osis flexwax or some clay. Should be able to achieve that dry look.

well have used gatsby SH(super hard) and loreal fix & shine hairspray.
they both hold pretty nice, but im the type of guy who love playing and re-styling my hair, so they tear faster than it should.

but u can give those 2 product a try.

I wont really recommend flexwax tbh. it is extremely sensitive to water and doesnt have the hold anymore with the slightest contact with water.

I leave my hair slightly damp. When its damp it makes it easier to comb and hardens a little more compared to dry application. If its too wet it would be difficult to style because it only holds when the water dries. Regarding how much I use, I usually scoop 1 finger and spread around my hair, comb my side parting then apply a little more to the front (and sometimes side to keep it more slicked) while forming a pomp. So about 2 fingers worth.

Maybe I'll include a pic the next time I use if I remember. I'm not using suavecito anymore though.

Guys, need ur recommendation on hair products.

Tried the purple gatsby but i dont like it.Currently using Murray's black beeswax.i dont like the its poor hold, too greasy and smells.so far it gives good shine.

Any recommendation for strong hold, less greasy and nice smell?shine is a plus, cuz i dont bother much.

Im open for clay/wax/pomade/mousse.

Thanks

u want extreme hold and with a good scent? u can try schmiere pomade. but its a grease. smell nice and got very powerful hold. the downside is its really greasy and hard to wash out. got one for shine too

i dont recommend waterbased pomade since more or less it acts more like a gel than a pomade... well except for shiner gold.

finally i decide to buy osis "tin sardine".

first time use, kinda disappointing.
its really sticky even when i apply a little and it give volume.

but after a 3-4 hours its getting better, the stickiness slowly disappear.
and my hair look natural.
i can play and mess with my hair, and retain it to my actual style easily.

i think im gonna stick with osis for a while now.

but i believe my hair is a little long for this one.
ohh, and my hair feels a little dry also.
