Suavecito is around rm50+ and Layrite is around rm70+. hmm.gif How much is Shiner Gold and where to get it? But I read that petroluem based is harder to wash off compared to water based right?

Yeah man. Definitely pomade can. But for me Suavecito dries up a little hard for my liking. Love the smell though.
Why not try applying a little more? hmm.gif

I leave my hair slightly damp. When its damp it makes it easier to comb and hardens a little more compared to dry application. If its too wet it would be difficult to style because it only holds when the water dries. Regarding how much I use, I usually scoop 1 finger and spread around my hair, comb my side parting then apply a little more to the front (and sometimes side to keep it more slicked) while forming a pomp. So about 2 fingers worth.

Maybe I'll include a pic the next time I use if I remember. I'm not using suavecito anymore though.

thanks for the info ya smile.gif

finally i decide to buy osis "tin sardine".

first time use, kinda disappointing.
its really sticky even when i apply a little and it give volume.

but after a 3-4 hours its getting better, the stickiness slowly disappear.
and my hair look natural.
i can play and mess with my hair, and retain it to my actual style easily.

i think im gonna stick with osis for a while now.

but i believe my hair is a little long for this one.
ohh, and my hair feels a little dry also.

might give a try after finish current product

i dont like suavecito... u cant restyle it back... even u do.. it wont hold as much as the 1st time u apply it. like i said a several times here already... for me personally the best waterbased pomade is shiner gold. at least u can restyle it back a couple of times before it loses its hold.

i still have my firme hold suavecito use one time only...
*
agree that suavecito not really can restyle as expected...

not really my favorite styling product thou...

If you think suavecito pomade  is good .

Wait till you try Gold Digger by Vilain .

Do 300 hundred backflips , hair still in position .

suavecito pomade  is crap ..no idea why so many people using it ..probably it is easy to get .

mind share where to get gold digger ? tongue.gif

Just a question for those with undercuts + pomp/slick back.

Do u have ur own hair clipper to maintain ur undercuts? I'm having the undercut hairstyle, every 2 months my sides are quite long dy. So I feel like buying myself a hair clipper to maintain my undercuts.

So far I've been to DIY shop, the yellow one, hair clippers ranging from RM19.90 til RM39.90. I know it's cheap but has any1 used similar price range hair clipper before. Can it give a clean cut for maintaining undercuts? hmm.gif
*
i dont have hair clipper... if you know how to maintain it your own, no harm to try it...

BTW, i no skill on maintain my own hair, scare accidentally ruined my hair, so just let hair stylist do the job..LOL

i just bought Sebastian Craft Clay from Shins because it was going for cheap (but I still have more than half a tub of By Vilain Gold Digger left)

but aiyoo i touched it a little bit and it's so greasy and immediately feel that this won't hold too well. Gold Digger gets dry/hard real fast, so this Sebastian clay is going to be just like Gatsby wax, greasy and takes ages to apply and dry on my hair.

Will try using a couple of times but I foresee myself selling it off or something lol. I think Gold Digger is the undisputed king as of now.
*
you online purchase?

i could not found any sebastian product in the outlet store of PJ area

my ciplak RM15 hairspray finishing soon! Any good hair spray to recommend guys?

I was using this for quite some time.

user posted image

But the scent is too strong. sweat.gif Til my gf complain. lel.

Then I change to this. QS 3D gold series 18 fixing spray. Bought it at about RM15 I think. Could not find it's image on Google. Maybe coz it's a ciplak brand. sweat.gif

The scent is not too strong. Holding is not bad.

But I have bad experience with these 2 type of hair sprays. It makes my hair feels....like a jelly...duno how to explain it. It's like it coats too much liquid on my hair. I feel that my hair is a bit heavy. Or did I spray too much. rclxub.gif

So I'm looking for a better hairspray. Something that feels lighter but have good holding strength. Using it with my HDF Claymation. Any recommendation guys?

im using this too, coz is cheap..LOL
