QUOTE(briantwj @ Jan 1 2014, 08:56 PM) This is the hair style that I'm looking to achieve. For this I used wax (gatsby pink moving rubber) + hair spray. But somehow I start disliking Gatsby, it's hard to wash off and bad for my hair I guess. Any other products to achieve this hairstyle? U guys think Suavecito Firme Hold can achieve this hair style? » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « [attachmentid=3795723] yup, but I find it a tad too expensive hahah I do remember there is a forumer selling suavecito offering free demos, go check him out at stuff for lads.

QUOTE(nick67 @ Jan 15 2014, 05:47 PM) Maybe try Osis flexwax or some clay. Should be able to achieve that dry look. I wont really recommend flexwax tbh. it is extremely sensitive to water and doesnt have the hold anymore with the slightest contact with water.

QUOTE(ar14arshad @ Apr 27 2014, 02:23 PM) Which is better, water based or grease based? For dry hair. water, very much easier to wash it off at the end of the day This post has been edited by TechnoG: Apr 28 2014, 11:34 AM

QUOTE(chuakz @ Apr 27 2014, 07:57 PM) i'm currently using fudge matt hed...i like the strength and durability of the wax but i desire a more wet or shiny look because my hair looks very dry and textureless without sheen. should i just apply pomade? certain people apply pomade after wax and some just apply the pomade directly. any suggestions? don't you use hairspray? it should provide some shine from there, no? I'm not sure how pomade will fair if you stack it up with wax. But I'm currently on hair paste and wax hahah.

QUOTE(Megaboyz @ Aug 8 2014, 03:52 AM) Hi guys, I'm searching for a good hairstyling wax or gel or pomade which is easy to obtain in Selangor and KL areas? I got a short and dry hair btw. I want to try Quiff/Spike style. Currently, I'm using Pink Gatsby. My hair tends to dry quickly after using it and the shape gone bad. Might as well go with a little of wet look and shine while strong hold. I read about Hanz De Fuko Claymation. It is suitable? Where to buy them at selangor and KL? Really interested. Thank you. if you are okay with the price of claymation then go ahead with it. I would pick schwarzkopf over gatsby anytime. the price difference isn't that big anyway. hair depot is a good place to start.

QUOTE(Megaboyz @ Aug 8 2014, 10:08 PM) Schwarzkopf product which is good for short hair wanting to do quiff/spikey style and my hair is dry? thank you. osis flexwax will be the safest bet. you can use it for any hairstyles and the hold is really good. if you are adventurous you can try rough rubber. But this product is really hard to use and it will def not work if you have long hair.
