If i'm using garmin shud i disable A-GPS in the positioning method setting? A bit confused there.

if a-gps got charges because it uses gprs ..and has data charges.

if gps dont have data charges but the lock on time will be much longer..especially around high rise buildings

U can disable A-GPS bcuz it will charge u for data transfer from using A-GPS. All about speed  biggrin.gif
$$ = A-GPS = faster
free = GPS = slower  tongue.gif

make ur choice now!

If you don't want to use A-GPS then when you open garmin don't move
your car, stay first until 5800 get GPS signal. You'd better do 5800's bottom is facing to the Sky. If you move the car with getting GPS signal without A-GPS then Really take long~~ time.

If a gps is off one way to get a lock without being frustaued in the car is 5 mins before you leave turn on garmin and put it on the dashboard or close to a window. This way once you start your journey it is already locked.

Another trick is turn on agps then get a lock. Then turn it off. The phone already knows where you are so it will lock fast with integrated gps.

I upgraded firrmware to V20.

I satisfied with two things and regret with one thing.

First, Now I can use every FONTS I want..

V11 uses s60sc.ccc font which can't edit.

V20 uses TTF font that can edit and put more extra font on it..

Someone asking Thai font.. You get Thai font for any TTF not only for Nokia phone... Windows or Microsoft office also OK.

Can edit the font in Nokia with Font Creator 5.6

Does this mean I need Font Creator 5.6 to install the Thai font into the Tube?

Get any Thai font.. ***.ttf type..

And combine with original fonts in 5800.

IMHO use a-GPS. The $$$ for the lock is not much. I tested it and it is only a few kbps and the benefits of getting a faster lock outweighs the cost. If you're really worried about data charges pay for a limited data plan, like me I'm on the 5MB for RM8/mth plan for Maxis just to cater for GPS and the occasional 3G usage.
