Imo, it seems only happens on laser mice.

And it seems laser mice its best use on hard-surface mice, according to forums.

Are u on latest drivers?.. latest firmware?..

Tried different mousemat/pad?...

Btw, does this problem of yer happened just recently?.. or from the start oredi have such problem?.. if so, have u tried updating latest bios for yer motherboard?..

mat of choice is depends on your usage
basically design work, strategy game focus more on control side, cloth mat can produce sufficient friction to provide better precision
while most of hard mats are slick, they enable swift movement which is handy for fps gamers, frag before fragged

why being considerate to the negligible matter such as mouse feet lifespan while pursuing for mous'ing performance?
what if the mouse dead before feet totally worn out? or the pad torn into bad state before the feet? or quit gaming anytime soon?
mouse feet replacement is cheap yet you can DIY with teflon tape
just get one you think that is affordable and suits you the best
most of the time getting expensive or higher end equipment doesn't mean one can gain the best result out of it
I've seen how good a western guy gaming performance is with just a MX518 on small piece of thick drawing paper
max out the dpi setting along with minor sensitivity increment done in game, his precision is almost flawless
there's no perfect match of mous'ing equipment, it's all up to how well you're adapted to your gears

lachesis very nice, but bcoz thats the only gaming mouse i've ever used

and with the mouse being light, i compliment that than complain... i like light mice

the only thing though is that my fingers can reach to the end of the front part of the DA while i can't reach the end of the front part of the lachesis, and for that, its uncomfortable for me...

maybe its my grip or something, but that's what i noticed
