i mean when I'm out of mousepad surface...i tend to quickly move my mouse back to get some surface back........usually the mouse will be ''terangkat'' to that height.

ummm, are u sure its 15cm.
most razer mouses now after 2cm above the pad there is no cursor movement.

New Goliathus for me to replace my DKT. Pairing it with my DB3G now as my DKT is wearing out badly. smile.gif Speed edition. Not bad but should have gotten the Control Edition instead as i still like the friction on the DKT better. But this is the perfect size for me. The DKT is just too big while the Omega is just too small tongue.gif

thats not a DB3G...traitor! tongue.gif
anyway, from DKT to Goliathus is only just slightly smoother...u get used to it very fast...i just drop 1 sens in on-the-fly and it feels the same already.
but getting used to the feel of the control edition material...bah.

mantis and goliathus basically is almost the same material.
sphex is useless if ur table isnt exactly flat.

just get a destructor or exactmat.

i m using lachesis on eXactmat now. it works well before, but starting yesterday it encounter big problem since it cannot detect the mouse pad... it is not the usb problem. i tried on the another surface, it is ok for few minutes but then misfunction again... anyone can tell me where is the problem?
*
this can happen sometimes if you try to change certain setting through razer's software panel
replug the usb end for few times and see if it is running
otherwise reboot your pc or reinstall the driver
lachesis is incompatible with exactmat (speed side), you might face cursor stuttering issue once in a while at mid-high dpi setting
no idea why is this occur, while other laser mouse using like G9 works fine on it
if the problem persists, maybe due to loosen cable or etc, just do RMA and get a new mouse laugh.gif

LOL...Was doing unpackaging at that point so just test it with my newly bought logitech mouse for my notebook as well tongue.gif

Now its with my DB3G. smile.gif Well, i was feeling the control edition at first as i thought of getting that version. But somehow, it just felt a tad rough as compared to my DKT. So, i opt for the Speed instead. But once i tested it at home, somehow, i like it to be slightly rougher for more precision i guess. Still, very nice pad when compared to the DKT. Just wondering how long will it take me before wearing out like the DKT tongue.gif

Destructor is a hard pad.
While it is true that hard pads wear off your mouse feet, it's not as bad as some of the exaggerated comments that we get around here. And it's not like you get ZERO wear when you use cloth pads. Where ever there's friction, there's wear.

I have an eXactmat and a Destructor, both of which I'll never switch with a cloth pad.

unlike draggy cloth mat, hard-plastic surface is slick and gives low friction feel
supposedly friction btween hard surface and mousefeet is less than friction btween cloth surface and mousefeet
how can the hard surface leads to quicker mousefeet wear in this case?

btw high sensitivity user can make a big jump with just a little shift
while low sensitivity user tends to move the mouse a lot
thus the mousefeet lifespan decrease as travelling distance increase

want to get the longest lifespan out of your mousefeet?
go for speed mat (hard plastic or metal based) and get use to high dpi setting laugh.gif

I have everything from the Mantis, eXactmat, Goliathus (2 actually), and Destructor.

I mostly opt for control, because I need precision in my line work work, rather then speed. The Destructor so far is my new fav, because it really is great to use with the Mamba. But my eXactMat is also very handy. When travelling, it's definitely the Goliathus.......

For the moment, I don't need the Sphex, but you never know.
I have waaaaaay too many Razer mouses.
