QUOTE(ethenies @ Jun 7 2009, 12:48 AM) i m using lachesis on eXactmat now. it works well before, but starting yesterday it encounter big problem since it cannot detect the mouse pad... it is not the usb problem. i tried on the another surface, it is ok for few minutes but then misfunction again... anyone can tell me where is the problem? this can happen sometimes if you try to change certain setting through razer's software panelreplug the usb end for few times and see if it is running otherwise reboot your pc or reinstall the driver lachesis is incompatible with exactmat (speed side), you might face cursor stuttering issue once in a while at mid-high dpi setting no idea why is this occur, while other laser mouse using like G9 works fine on it if the problem persists, maybe due to loosen cable or etc, just do RMA and get a new mouse |

While it is true that hard pads wear off your mouse feet, it's not as bad as some of the exaggerated comments that we get around here. And it's not like you get ZERO wear when you use cloth pads. Where ever there's friction, there's wear. I have an eXactmat and a Destructor, both of which I'll never switch with a cloth pad. |

I have everything from the Mantis, eXactmat, Goliathus (2 actually), and Destructor.
I mostly opt for control, because I need precision in my line work work, rather then speed. The Destructor so far is my new fav, because it really is great to use with the Mamba. But my eXactMat is also very handy. When travelling, it's definitely the Goliathus....... For the moment, I don't need the Sphex, but you never know. I have waaaaaay too many Razer mouses.
