QUOTE(boonsin23 @ Mar 25 2009, 03:54 PM) PBB CC 12times per year (once every month) will get you AF automatically waived, if let say I have a Auto-Debit transaction every month (12 transaction per year), would it consider AF waiver? Or these 12 times usage per year need to be retail transactions? They only consider retail transaction. Petrol & pay bills not consider retail.

QUOTE(David83 @ Mar 26 2009, 10:01 AM) Just pay RM 2 for each Interbank Fund Transfer. That is right but if you have basic saving account, you will be only charged 50cent for the first 2 transaction per month.

Is that a normal?

QUOTE(tgeoklin @ Mar 30 2009, 05:43 PM) Yes, that's correct. Pls cancel all unuse cards to improve your chances. The idea is to decrease yr overall credit limit exposure Which other banks use the same practice? HSBC is not, the salesman told me for them, they only look at the record especially outstanding balance, they don't care how much card I have. This post has been edited by GHz: Mar 30 2009, 06:05 PM

QUOTE(carjack18 @ Mar 31 2009, 06:35 AM) What if I got a lot of outstanding balance but my payment record is good. i.e, I make at least the min 5% payment of my CC. Will my house loan get rejected? I think that will be an issue. Even with no outstanding balance & many credit cards, some banks insist not to give home loan.

QUOTE(wkf @ Apr 8 2009, 12:29 AM) i having the credit card with hsbc. the bank charged quite expensive on its annual fees. if i ask for the fee waiver on my credit card, will they give up the fees charge on me instead, or i need to arugue with them very hard then only can get the waiver. If they do not want to entertain you, just tell them that you would like to cancel the card. Through this way I manage to get 5 years AF waiver although I never use the card.

QUOTE(hye @ Apr 12 2009, 06:17 PM) Same here ... no problem. I could safely say that I have used Citibank Online, CIMBClicks, SCB Online, HSBC Online and M2U while overseas and no problem. I agree. Should not be any problem. However for my case, I experiencing a couple of time, where I did not received TAC while oversea but its really rare. But, if I not wrong telcos charge us for receiving SMS while overseas.

Yes, a couple of them such as, Alliance bank, Affin bank, etc. For petrol better to use petrol specific CC as you gain higher rebate. p/s - look at my signature.

QUOTE(feizaiII @ Apr 20 2009, 11:51 AM) Yupp, i have read ur article before. Thanks alot. Meaning that good to separate, petrol using petrol card? I pump Shell petrol, so DirectAccess is best now, but promotion end in April. If taken out petrol usage, then .. All I want to say is that most of card that offer good cash rebate on petrol do not offer a very good cash rebate for other purchase.
