You can get it in kundasang or a market on the way to KK. If you follow tour i think they will bring you to buy it.
*
In fact in Kundasang is the only place so far I know that sold white Kampung Adidas. Still cannot find them else where.

Hardware shop got.

Btw, I just want to share with you. Its better for you to send those shoes to professional cobbler (Cobbler at Mall). Just say, you want cushion for heel. Ur heel will get blister.

They will stick the leather cushion and sew abit. Very neat work. By sewing, eventually the leather cushion won't peel off.  sweat.gif

+1

Cushioning are good and important to ensure you feel stable and comfy.

I just came back from Tok Wan.
Wow, first time bump into a snake while hiking! Didn't know what breed is that but it's about 2 feet long in light brown color.
And also, the mosquito over there is exceptionally LOT MORE than usual today!
*
Snake is pretty common to see during jungle trek. Just do not disturb them.

How's Tok Wan trail these days? It's been a while since I last been there.

Sad news.

More sad news: There was a wingsuit BASE jump from the peak due early May, and they cancelled the event due to this accident
*
Yeah, heard of that too. Should be under Discovery Channel sad.gif.

Been almost the same, just that got lot of mosquito as compare to the usual days.
I think partly is due to the change of weather. Back then is quite dry so mosquito got no place to breed.
*
Never like Tok Wan personally due to the mosquito during the first half of the climb and the muddy portion when the second hike up right (near the boulders).

Oh yea, I never like the muddy part too.
But I guess a new trail was opened up, where you come to a point there is a split, you can by pass the muddy one by taking the right split.
*
Long time never been there. Never aware of any crossroad there. The last time I know there are changes when a group tried to find the second peak of Tok Wan.

When I was there few weeks back, I heard from a group that they came up from a different trail, not passing by Broga. However, I didn't ask in details. I saw them went right into the jungle right after the summit, different from the one I came in.
*
Further down from the Broga Hill foot hill, there is another entrance which could lead to a small waterfall. Whether there could lead to Tok Wan, I wouldn't know. It just too far for me to drive there to hike.

I just tried exploring B trail and also the other exit to Wangsa cheras, there's one trail left to be explored
*
B trail is one of the trail which could be a little confusing as it is one of the least used besides D. Other than that, you could see lots of hiker.

Cant wait for my second climb within a year to mount kk.

Taking the Mesilau route this time. have anyone tryout the "fresh" water along the pondok on the way up?!
*
I did try the water which is on the route via Mesilau but never came across any water source near any pondok which you are trying to refer to. Anyway, the pondok are quite dirty and even if you found one I am not sure whether you will be willing to try. At around 2 KM mark you will cross a wooden bridge and you could try the water which I am referring to. I think it is before the suspension bridge.

There's way too many Saloman shoe outthere.. I did climb with my bata white shoe last time.. so I think any shoe should be ok

Just did Nuang from Janda Baik.. Not as easy as I thought too.. the Lalang is higher than a human figure now.. and extremely slippery due to raining season.. offcourse it's way shorter

The lalang, on the way to orang asli village... it's so tall right now..
after orang asli village is the fallen bamboo, bad for big guy like me.. have to crawl over..
leech was not so bad. average of 1 bite per pax hahaha
*
The vegetable farm still there right? How come the lalang so tall like what you have describe here? Is it after the boom gate? That side memang long wan. Bamboo part pretty annoying even for my size. Once near Chemperoh, should be clear and steady.

Any items you are looking to get my friend? From there we could advice you accordingly. Saga is a good training. Want harder, you could head to Pine Tree Trail or Angsi via Ulu Bendul smile.gif
