I'm foreveralone here, so no issue with that.
However, my problem is couldn't find kaki to hike along, or the kaki is found are mostly unfit, slowdown the whole kampung.

I once hike in Gunung Liang, there is a bird that follow us the whole night when we hike.. and quack loudly as in saying: you are intruding our territory..

We were too tired to bother after 10 hours of hiking tho..

After a while encounter with snakes and insects seems pretty the norm...
I do hate leeches because I usually have very bad allergy and itchiness after that?

So far no birds follow me anywhere. Even if it LEW or Tumang Batak.

You do day trip of course tired. Maybe the bird tried to tell you - stop day trip, enjoy camping.

Most mountains in Perak got tiger leeches. Those are real s*ckers.

Allergy reaction I am not sure but itchiness yeah. Quite normal if you are a regular hiker.

Brown type normally you see on the ground or river bank.

Those green type you wouldn't realize them as they are normally attached to leaves.

I will do Mt Kk twice this year.. let you know later tongue.gif
I did Mt KK when I was 15, found it very hard that time, even ended up in hospital the night after I descend..
But when I recall back, it's hardly one of the worst I have ever done..

I thought Mt. Fansipan in Vietnam in even worse, I almost had mental breakdown the last part towards the summit..

I heard Rinjani is real badass too

There is a hot spring and a waterfall nearby the lake campsite.

Rinjani easy peasy via Sembalun to Senaru.

The other route vice versa I have to admit tougher.

Nice set of pictures but wasted you seems like never do the Sendang Gile and *** Kelep waterfalls since you exit to Senaru.

Never know got Gili Naggu. At first I thought it is Gili Meno.
