QUOTE(iamyuanwu @ May 18 2009, 08:34 PM) The confused farmers said to themselves: These BB'ers are some whacked up bananas. Lifting heavy ass weight for nuffin'. Ain't makin' no sense to me. Might as well just get over here in my farm and start ploughin' the land---I'd even feed them bananas for free! I'd take up that offer.

QUOTE(iamyuanwu @ May 23 2009, 04:22 PM) Stumbled upon something worth reading... at least for noobs like me. 30 best gyms in US by Men's Health. http://www.menshealth.com/bestgyms/I couldn't care less about the best gym & what not. But when you click on each gym, the are little snippets of tips and pointers worth reading. 30 pointers from 30 coaches is definitely worth checking out. Really interesting tips.

Bench pressing with your legs is to keep you stable and avoid ending up with a crushed face.
@JonYeap: Hooray for Barcelona! Not a Barca fan, but still! Bwahah!

You need protein to repair damaged muscle tissue.

QUOTE(darklight79 @ Jun 1 2009, 01:15 AM) Of course. Most of your strength loss during a layoff will be neural but some of it will be due to muscle atrophy. Damn, just noticed you uploaded a new video onto youtube. Scary weights!

While we're on the topic of routines, anyone care to take a look at mine and possibly give some suggestions where necessary?
Gym's closed on monday. So it's either cardio or rest. Tuesday: Chest, biceps Wednesday: Abs and I'm gonna start getting in HIIT or whatever helps to increase my stamina for my other sports. Thursday: Shoulders Friday: Legs Saturday: Back, triceps Sunday: Rest.

QUOTE(darklight79 @ Jun 2 2009, 11:52 PM) Looks solid. Keep to that routine. You have sufficient spacing before each bodypart is hit again. ----------------> Drink more water. Alright, will do. Actually took me a while to realize my previous routine was pretty screwed up before I came up with this.

QUOTE(braindead_fr3ak @ Jun 3 2009, 01:10 AM) pss..dan...dude...ure getting good improvements mate..hows ur weight now? Last time I weighed myself I was 62kg. Now I'm hovering around 64-65kg. I don't think I've gained much, or any, fat (at least the mirror says so) so I can only hope it's muscle mass.

You could be losing fat while gaining muscle mass. You look more defined because your body fat percentage has decreased. Keep eating and training hard AND get lots of sleep!
