I'm looking to upgrade my 8800gts. At the moment, I'm considering a GTX285 with at least 1gig ram or higher. But I'm wondering if my current rig will support it.

Specs:
PCI Express slot for gfx card
intel core 2 duo 2.1ishsomething
4 gig ram (not sure what DDR or hz its running on)
24" dell widescreen
Windows vista
intel dunno what motherboard.

My question is basically if it will be compatible with the rig above, and if so, what is the recommended power supply to use?

Also, what are the difference between the brands available? Asus, galaxy, gigabyte, palit?

Any help here is greatly appreciated.

<-- fkin computer idiot.

I think I'll get that MSI Geforce GTX285 (Superpipe) once it is out.

Hopefully it cost about the same with those currently in the market. I doubt I can fit another GPU with the Artic Cooling Extreme Cooler.
