if u buy 32" HDTV. make sure u get the Full HD but not the HD Ready one.

Full HD = 1080
HD Ready = 720

LG Rolls Out New HD Monitors
QUOTE
LG announced a new fleet of full-HD capable LCD monitors today. The lineup consists of three models of different screen-sizes under the Wxx53V-PF naming scheme: the 22 inch W2253V-PF, 24 inch W2453V-PF and 27 inch W2753V-PF. LG seems to have emphasized on both form and function with these ones. Sporting a piano-black shell with a dash of clear acrylic, the monitors pack LCD panels with 2 ms response time. All models have native resolutions of 1920 x 1080 pixels (1080p HD), and are HDCP-capable.

Additionally, they feature intelligent Auto Bright, Live Sensor, and Cinema mode proprietary features. The monitor detects the intensity of light in the environment it's working in, and accordingly adjusts brightness and contrast levels. All models support offer DVI-D, D-SUB, and HDMI port as input connectivity options. LG is yet to release or price these monitors outside the Japanese market as of now.

yeah, lcd tv and lcd monitors are very different in supported resolutions
you can even find 40" lcd tv that is only HD ready
quite sad that the industry is moving from 1920*1200 to 1920*1080, gonna miss the extra space
especially useful when seeing a 16:9 video and need to access the command bar without disrupting the movie

wa.. v6 already..
@Kytz

Me at first like 16:10 ratio monitor, but cant afford to buy it. so i bought Dell S2409 (16:9) and never feel regret it. trust me it awesome!!

and for those who really think 16:9 ratio will produce small font rather than 16:10, just go buy bigger monitor. dont look at 22 inch, try find 24 inch monitor and problem solve. if you still feel the font small go to properties and make system font medium. if that not solve try to use Ctrl+= or Ctrl + mouse scroll to zoom in /zoom out.

If that still canot solve than you should buy 16:10 monitor
