Dell S2409W 24" has maximum resolution at 1920 x 1080. But can this lcd run full screen beautifully at resolution 1280 x 720 with DVI input?
*
my opinion:
update gpu driver n plug in the LCD monitor, PC will auto detect what reso that 2409w can sapot!

if now u use Laptop LCD with 1280x720 reso (highest possible for it i think) that's why u cant set higher than that! bcos system auto detect what reso laptop lcd can handle!
sory... bad english! sad.gif

I think i get what u mean by the system auto detect monitor capability resolution thing. The gc got no problem but just the limitation on old monitor. We'll c when i get to try out with 2409w rclxm9.gif

No..LCD monitor will always more pricy than HDTV...32" HDTV costs around rm2000, while 27" LCD monitor costs around rm2+++....
