20 March is within my next billing month. Dun think i stay wif celcom that long. Dun want to be cheated wif another excuse of maintenance.

1st off, the upload problem started on 17-18 Feb, not 6 March. More like another cover-up story by celcom. Hope not but dun wanna bet on it.

Now waiting for MX510 scan. I bet he is having hard time trying to upload. Go, bro MX510! Dun give up. (on uploading, that is. on celcom, give up... tongue.gif )

You get me wrong! I mean the calculations for Celcom may need to factor in the stability problems, say 50%. So, the cost per GB is much higher than your calculations. Celcom totally can't fight with Digi (for heavy user).
Anyway, I really appreciate your comparison. I like to put things in dollar and cents to judge. rclxms.gif

QUOTE(mar_ware @ Mar 12 2009, 10:29 AM)
well, i'm sorry if u think that way. my assumptions may not work on every one as i stated. perhaps i didnt make my definition of stability clear enuf. a stable line means the line is not having regular problems. i used celcom for half a year now n the problems r abundant, neva stopped. one week, problem A. then later, problem A gone, problem B comes. the cycle goes on n on. i read reviews about DiGi EDGE n found that the service has less problems. n thus, i say it is more stable than celcom service.
i think he is trying to upload as we speak. poor MX510. how to upload using such ridiculous speed. look forward to read it though. i have demanded answer from celcom a long time now. all my previous calls have gone unheard, unfortunately.

today's speed report... 109kbps down, another mystery number for up... report over n out.

ya, within this week. when this billing month ends. now just making sure i got wad i paid for. cant stand this service any longer. i have to go out just to upload files to send to my frens. or to update my blog.

would like to switch to maxis but RM100 subscription fee and additional RM200 handling fee (if terminate within 2 yrs) makes me reluctant. maybe use DiGi EDGE for awhile n see how 1st.

celcom wont change if they dun notice ppl leaving the service. so either i stick wif them n rot to death or switch service. i rather choose the latter.

I think Celcom notice ppl leaving. Just that the coming is more than leaving... blink.gif
We're not "good" customers in Celcom definition (use more than 5GB) vmad.gif

If you really know how to count ... the latest promotion of D68 + modem is really too expensive.
I am not sure if I heard the wrong message. I was told that, first month payment is RM250 and then RM89 for 18 months.

true, chyaw, as of now more r coming than leaving. but i'm sure more than 50% newcomers will feel the same after a month or so. then a portion of those ppl will leave celcom. these ppl will then help spread the word that celcom bb is to be avoided.

if our dissatisfaction can be heard louder than celcom propaganda campaign, more will be reluctant to sign up. we cant force them to agree or listen to us. we cant offer them assurance that by doing so is the correct way. at least we r making our point clear to celcom n potential customers.

dun be tricked by sweet deals celcom promoters telling u. come here n check our reviews, our experience. if u believe us, u may save urself from painful agony. trust me, u dun wanna deal wif idiotic bunch of celcom CS who do nothing but pour oil onto ur flaming brain. if u dun, at least we warn u about it.

plus lets not forget that DiGi 3G has come into the equation. once DiGi launch their service nationwide, ppl will start thinking y we pay RM98 for 5GB quota not RM128 for 50GB quota. believe me, ppl compare these figures as a factor to decide. i did choose celcom over maxis half a year ago coz of that. becoz their fair usage policy is 5GB, 2GB more than maxis. wad most ppl dunno (including the past me) is maxis hasnt implement their fair usage policy (from wad i heard so far)

the only thing celcom wins over the other wireless operators is their massive coverage, which is no doubt important. but wad is the use of wide coverage when u cant fully utilise the usage. i for example have to go outside just to upload my pics into my blog or facebook... which is pathetic given that i paid for mobile broadband service.

No. You need to go to their branch and fill up a form. I did it last year.

yeah. since most of you gave poor comments toward celcom bb, it's pointless into contract. Second thing is, it's still cheaper to buy an original modem than 18 months instalment as the interest is very high.
