Mmm... IAANM, previous semester, during an event in my uni, DIGI also came and promote D'Campus biggrin.gif
But i didn't go and grab one. Kinda regret it now sweat.gif

Actually, my uni always invite DIGI as one of the sponsor for most events or occasions held here laugh.gif

Hi Bro,
You make 1 big assumption here and that's stability. So, your scenario is more bias to Celcom. Yet, Celcom so pathetic, even assuming line stable still lose out pants down...
Maybe Celcom aim at those light user that doesn't even know what is torrent or direct download or even Youtube!!!  rclxub.gif
*
well, i'm sorry if u think that way. my assumptions may not work on every one as i stated. perhaps i didnt make my definition of stability clear enuf. a stable line means the line is not having regular problems. i used celcom for half a year now n the problems r abundant, neva stopped. one week, problem A. then later, problem A gone, problem B comes. the cycle goes on n on. i read reviews about DiGi EDGE n found that the service has less problems. n thus, i say it is more stable than celcom service.

i think he is trying to upload as we speak. poor MX510. how to upload using such ridiculous speed. look forward to read it though. i have demanded answer from celcom a long time now. all my previous calls have gone unheard, unfortunately.

today's speed report... 109kbps down, another mystery number for up... report over n out.

The upload speed same as usual. The D'Campus is only for college student right?

Extracted from DiGi's website:

D' Campus is a package offered by DiGi specially for tertiary students and is available in 15 Universities and Colleges around Malaysia. It provides students with the best package for voice, SMS and data rates as well as attractive notebook bundling deals.

One student ID = One SIM card

I can get 250++kbps (Direct download 26KBps from utorrent server at Texas) and low ping between 240-300ms. The result still the same till now. Still satisfied with Digi EDGE! Will move to 3G once officially released nationwide. biggrin.gif
*
Good to hear that. So far I'm still contented with the speed. biggrin.gif

For the first time in history, I got a message from Celcom this morning via my data line:

A friendly reminder, your data usage is reaching the allocated 5GB/mth (Celcom Broadband Policy). Pls reduce your usage to avoid your speeds managed.

Whatever... I'll terminate it later once my all my torrents have finished downloading.

i think they get tired of answering phones complaining of the speed drop. well, good news is the complains will keep on coming as the upload speed is terrible. nothing can be done wif this upload speed. no IM chat. no upload. no posting in forums. i dun think it is a friendly reminder. more like a threat to me. very stern n abit rude.

any news from toilet bowl yet? or MX510?

afternoon speed's report: 98kbps down, dunno for up... yet again...

Last time i used Maxis BB, also slow. I thought switched to Celcom BB will be faster and stable. In fact.. **disappointed** shakehead.gif

Try using the latest version. Heard that it can login easier smile.gif
and you might want to try switching your connection type to GPRS. That might work smile.gif

From the day I had Celcom Broadband, I've never encountered any problems logging in to Windows Live Messenger. I only have issues logging in occasionally.

It is normal for an ISP to have a lot of maintenance work but of course if they say that they are doing a maintenance, there should be a better result after the maintenance.
