7 kbps for upload... how come u can finish. i neva seem to be able to finish upload coz of the ridiculous upload speed. thanks to super-fast sialcom broadband... even its own EDGE upload speed is faster.

so sick of retrying or reloading pages that r left hanging halfway...

Right, Celcom BB not very stable. Always drop off and sometimes line without connectivity. Digi Edge is much more stable but at lesser speed & Celcom HSDPA/3G has the widest coverage. Hope they improve soon.

I be Celcom WILL NEVER improve, because during this PC Fair, they will kept on getting new subscribers and clogged the traffic even more without adding extra bandwidth. Would you mind paying premium for almost dial-up speed, monthly data quota limit with constant disconnection? I'm sure you don't want that. sleep.gif

Correct.
They have to do something to improve the speed , services and etc or otherwise people will change to other ISP.

I pay RM90 per month as I'm Celcom business user. The downside of business user is you're in 2 yrs contract!
Yes. My speed is capped when I reached 5GB +2GB (before CS reset my account)
I'm using IE and able to access to the website...

RM 90? drool.gif At least you pay RM 8 lesser than those D98 users. tongue.gif
Your speed is capped now? smile.gif Uncapped date is coming. brows.gif

I'm still wondering why I couldn't access to the website to check my usage. hmm.gif

Hi Mar_ware,
If you want to be Celcom business user, do some check on Celcom website for business user. Personally, not recommended unless special case like mine (company sponsor my handphone bill - up to RM150). brows.gif

As usual. Capped to 120-something kbps for down. Dunno for my upload though. Speedtest took ages...

I also think Celcom will not improve. At least not any time soon. The CEO made an announcement that they will be adding more bandwidth but the mystery question is by when? 2012? 2020? As of now, the no. of customers by rite r already beyond Celcom's capacity and they still taking customers. Plus this is the first news ever telling that Celcom will increase their bandwidth after years of operating this 3G BB service.

True, the line nowadays is far from stable. I did have some disconnection or 0bps download at times. Still quite alrite since the problem wasnt for the whole day or something. But worse still is the stupid upload speed. I cant use my MSN, must use web-based IM to chat. Very inconvenient and also no more update for my blog when using Celcom BB. Posting here is worse. Have to retry so many times... Even using dial-up have no prob posting here...

As of now, Celcom has the widest coverage and thus doesnt feel the need to compete. In KL area, ppl can switch to different ISPs but for most parts, Celcom is the only ISP, allowing them to monopolise the market. I believe DiGi may be able to compete wif Celcom soon, once they set up more coverage. As for maxis, it is now at least beta than Celcom given their higher upload speed and they havent implement fair usage policy yet. I remember 6 months ago, Celcom wins from maxis hands-down. No question. Now, maxis wins Celcom hands-down and pants-off...

Wow... that's like 1% of Celcom capped speed. Since one 350MB series takes 7+ hours using Celcom... That is less than an hour using ur connection... Wow! So fast... ENVY!!! Well, D68 before capped is ok. But after that, 64kbps dunno can use for wad.

I don't think you can say it is quite good as it is already very good since D68 is supposed to have only up to 384kbps as advertised. biggrin.gif

Well, I'm currently using DiGi EDGE to test out their connection and it seems to be pretty stable although it is slower. Somehow it is more reliable than Celcom Broadband. wink.gif
