QUOTE(Apis_LuaLua @ Mar 14 2009, 12:17 AM) fabio is ok, rafael still not fit i guess.. but the thing is, both will have no chance for this game.. hehe Yeah, I don't see SAF putting out the youngsters at the start. Cool heads and experience will prevail - it's always a massive match, and this season even more so because they are challenging for the league title. The younger guys will be under so much pressure to perform... then again, on Wednesday, Scholes and Carrick seemed to be a little off with the passing! Hopefully SAF has given them the "hairdryer treatment" and they'll be concentrating hard at Old Trafford!

Huhu 13 hours to go. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/foo...icle5904516.eceQUOTE But Ferguson took the unusual step of writing to the Liverpool manager to congratulate him on winning the Champions League in 2005, praising his tactics, and also spoke up on the Spaniard’s behalf when political turmoil at Anfield threatened to cut short his tenure last season. Look deep enough and you will find some respect there, even if more recently their relationship has assumed an adversarial nature, with barbs flying back and forth.
Another little-known fact is that, a decade ago, while on a sabbatical after a spell in charge of Extremadura, Benítez spent a week in Manchester as a guest of Steve McClaren, Ferguson’s assistant at the time, studying United’s coaching set-up at close quarters.

QUOTE Tyler's Starting Stat - United they still stand
Well as you can imagine Manchester United-Liverpool is our main port of call this weekend, but I was at Old Trafford on Wednesday night when Jose Mourinho and Inter became the latest side to suffer at the hands - or heads - of United. The 2-0 success meant United have now won 15 of their last 16 games in all competitons (the 0-0 draw in the San Siro the odd one out); kept 31 clean sheets in 49 games in all competitions and in the Champions League alone, they are now unbeaten in a record 21 games and their last 19 at Old Trafford. They are also unbeaten in their last 29 home fixtures in all competitions with Liverpool looking to emulate Portsmouth, who were the last side to win there, in an FA Cup quarter-final in March 2008, with a goal from Sully Muntari - now of Inter of course. As for Cristiano Ronaldo, he has now scored in 48 games at Old Trafford and Manchester United have won every single one of them! http://www.skysports.com/opinion/story/0,2...5042275,00.html
