Eh pantang la you guys! What Inter come OT score away goal!? Choi choi choi! vmad.gif

Lol, anyway, SAF sees LP winning but I'd still prefer RM to get through. In an earlier interview, SAF is reported saying that this yr's CL champs will be from the EPL, saying RM plays "too slow" and only has speedy Arjen Robben to beat defenders, but that's insufficient as "he's not brave enough". So good la, between the two teams tonight, I hope for RM to win, but LP has a higher chance IMHO...

Ok la, I'll rather meet RM than LP. Feels like we can beat RM anytime.

How can fergie get aguero when atheletico don't want to allow him to leave? Given his current reputation, I'm sure it wouldn't be cheap too. And do you really think we can find another reputable striker cheaper than 30m? Tevez is proven, knows how we play, loves MU and the fans love him. - if fergie doesn't spend 30m on Tevez, I can't really see him signing anyone else like Aguero.

Agree with Maxi, Mario Gomez news sounds fake too. Given the squad's depth in the striker's dept, any next player we buy would most probably be a marketing stint.

Do you all believe in fate and destiny? As much as I want to win all the cup available including the Carling Cup, but past record show when Tot wins the Carling Cup, we are destined for more glory eg : 98/99 and 07/08. So what you guys think?
*
2 times' a coincidence. 3 times' a trend.

I'm very hungry this time... I think we are capable of going for all 4.

QUOTE(Wan @ Feb 28 2009, 06:58 PM)
If he's not injury prone, I'd take him(if he was a bit younger lah) in a heartbeat should we decide not to sign Tevez. With Berba already here, a 'Saha' would be perfect. Pace, a goal threat, and someone that can play as an out and out striker, something we're missing when Rooney is out. Maybe Welbeck will provide that in the future. Those Italians are looking great too for the reserves/academy. We might not sign anyone at the rate those young ones are going.
*
I remember his goal against Chelsea last year. Got on out and out in just a few minutes... one-on-one with Cech... Blam, placed shot into bottom left corner, well out of reach of Cech's palm. As calm as a coffee icecube.

Really goose bump when seen this article....

in park we trust....best ever asian player to played in premier league? definitely.... notworthy.gif
*
PJS is my asian hero. I bet they'll make an animation of him when he retires. And he will star in some korean winter sonata.

QUOTE(sinoffire @ Mar 1 2009, 07:05 AM)
ooooh....ahhhh.....we're on course to becoming the first club in English football history to win 3 titles in a row on two separate occasions, in doing so winning our 18th and equalling Liverpool's record of titles.....niceeeee.......
*
And that's up the LP fans' XXX for boasting about their titles numbers.

QUOTE(corez @ Mar 1 2009, 12:05 PM)
While we hate his guts when he was with Chelsea, he is suitable for the job.
Won the UCL with Porto.
Manage to handle all the egos in Chelsea.
Proven can turn all the stars into a collective unit of 11 payers working for each other.
I say yes.
*
I say no. He's a good manager, but concurring with some of the others in the forum, he's not the man for Man Utd. Might be a very good fan choice, but I doubt his style of playing suits us at all.

QUOTE(corez @ Mar 1 2009, 12:50 PM)
BTW, how do you fit 18 inches in ur pants? hmm.gif

you turn it under and between your legs and up your butt holeeeee~ icon_rolleyes.gif

QUOTE(maxizanc @ Mar 1 2009, 12:53 PM)
At the current moment, i don't think there is another manager who can replace SAF out there. Even i didn't agree when somebody said Queiroz is the perfect replacement to SAF, Mourinho?? It's not about 1-0 win. His tactical approach is damn boring. Even i didn't agree with SAF playing a defensive tactics few years back. I hate defensive tactic.

This maybe awkward, unrealistic and unlogical but i believe Wenger is the 2nd manager i admire the most and perfect for United.
*
WENGER!? THE DELUSIONAL ONE!???? vmad.gif

Rio's freaking solid, coming to our rescue time and time agian. Evra's being tormented by Lennon so far. How come Evra cannot keep up!?

Evra, go full defense mode ok? Mark Lennon gao gao.

Nani was fine la, at least better than his usual standards. He's playing around on the flanks, beating defenders and passing the ball around, at least. Better than Gobson or Evra, which should be performing better given that he's the best LB in the world.

Tevez is lost. We need to find him.

Added on March 2, 2009, 12:15 amOMGGoodness, look at the length of Foster's throw. lol~

Added on March 2, 2009, 12:17 am... Anderson for welbeck? O.o Ronaldo upfront now?

Ok la, see it this way:

1. Win penalty shootout: We win Carling Cup and potentially the quadruple.
2. Lose penalty shootout: We win Champions League and potentially the treble. quadruple still too, if you consider the Cup World Cup.

ANYWAY! WE MUST WIN! HEART ATTACK TIME!!!

That was what I said. Failed. Phailed.
If Manucho was around, he won't be playing.  laugh.gif
If either Rooney or Berbs was around, THINGS WOULD BE DIFFERENT.
*
QUOTE(Sheep319 @ Mar 1 2009, 07:04 PM)
I mean I know its failed lol. I was restating that they both failed.
If Manucho was playing la, say la he was playing.
HE'D HEADBUTT THE LIVING CRAP OUT OF GOMES.
*
FUNNY! Sheep, what's with your amazement with Manucho anyway?

QUOTE(nicodemus @ Mar 1 2009, 07:45 PM)
Man of the match was Foster.
I think Rooney,Carrick,Berba,VDS and other players don't get a medal cause they did play in the Carling cup.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
*
Foster!? *disbelief* NOT RIO FERDINAND!? Ok la, Foster did well,
dealt w high balls/crosses, checked.
fast reflexes, checked.
coming out of his goal to cover aaron lennon, only for lennon to pass and luckily RIO FERDINAND was there to intercept, not checked.
save one penalty... CHECKED.

Ok la, 3/4 checked. Give it to the lad la.

Oh yea! Not forgetting the length of his throws... Can fight with goalkicks wei. Haha!

But sad thing is everybody know the direction he gonna shoot tongue.gif
*
Which direction!? I might need to know in case I meet him in the CL finals. I mean, you never know when he might approach you for a penalty shootut training session right?

MU has proven able to handle the beautiful as well as the ugly in the squad.

Just get rid of Teveth to make way for Ribery so that we do not exceed the ugly quota. whistling.gif

*
OMG! Don't insult Tevez! We need him to bite defenders! Ribery can only scare them from afar!

it all started with the schlong thingy. blame the one who started that  tongue.gif

Yea. After talking about huge schlongs, what else do we MU fans not dare to talk about!? brows.gif

Anyway, Ribery will definitely not come to our squad. He just ain't likely. SAF will just unearth another Anderson.

Added on March 3, 2009, 3:08 amLol, the guy from the transferleague seems to have a vendetta against Rafa and LP fans. Wonder why?
