So far,the people who worked on ME movie looks good.
Just hope Chris Nolan, or JJ Abrams will direct this movie. It will definitely be the best game adaptation.
I just hope that they will do the story on Skylian Verge or something, that happen before ME1. That would be epic.

Legendary Pictures? Well, they are known to produce eye candy visuals in movies, hopefully the movie will have the same treatment as well.

I think question is: is the movie going to be a trilogy like the games? Or just on the 1st game?
To be honest I am not so jumpy about this movie, most games adaptation to movies have been pretty crap.
Hitman was "decent" but did not really handle itself like the game for example. And that was just about a guy in our current world.
ME is basically a Space Opera game... to make into a movie will be tough...

There is a 40% Mass Effects Bundle sale on Impulse (unfortunately not available for our region)
Perhaps the next weekend sales on Steam would follow suit.

RUMOR: Mass Effect series getting multiplayer QUOTE A job posting (seen left) on LinkedIn (via GameBlend) calls for a "Multiplayer Programmer (Mass Effect Franchise)" at BioWare Montreal. It seems to suggest that multiplayer and/or co-op play might be coming to Mass Effect 3 or an entirely new project in the series:
"Multiplayer Programmers ensure the game engine and game systems work reliably and efficiently in a multiplayer environment. They work with both the front and back ends to take existing single player user experiences and make them multiplayer safe."
I don't know if I'd rather have co-op or competitive multiplayer. I would potentially want them both. Mass Effect 2's combat was much improved over its predecessor and could lead to a fun multiplayer experience.
On the co-op side, the game is setup for 3-player play if it's just going to be added to the existing game framework. There's always a chance that this is the beginning of an MMORPG, but I don't believe BioWare would throw two of those into production at the same time. I think we'll have to wait until after Star Wars: The Old Republic is released before we have a chance at getting a Mass Effect MMO.
The job responsibilities also mention working on multiple platforms, seemingly confirming whatever this is for the Xbox 360 and PC versions. The job posting is very close to E3 2010, which could shed some light on this when it kicks off on June 15. Source: Shacknews

Mass Effect 3 Should Be All Giggles
QUOTE BioWare's sci-fi role-playing game trilogy Mass Effect looks like it will end on a lighter note than previous entries, a Return of the Jedi to Mass Effect 2's Empire Strikes Back, instilled with more fun, lightness and humor.
Or, as OXM calls it, "humour." BioWare's Casey Hudson tells the publication that Mass Effect 3 is where the developer will "try and bring some fun and lightness back into it," an apparent ratcheting up of giggles and a decrease in gloom, something the developer tried to balance in Mass Effect 2 so as not to make it "an overbearing experience."
"Mass Effect 3 is going to be the epic conclusion," Hudson tells OXM, "so, a lot more darkness but also a lot more humour." Source: KotakuToo much jokes might ruin Mass Effect 3?

Mass Effect 2 rocks! The interface is so much better than the first. The only thing I dislike is mining. Spent hours just to max upgrades.
