can i use my csl modem for digi broadband?

its better to know the APN and dial number as well, when needed to setup by yourself

The thing is that I've used just 200Mb of bandwidth this month.

I have 1 question about the modem that provided by Digi. Currently I am subscribing to Explore Package with Free Modem Model E219.

I found out that when i plug in to my PC, after my modem connected to Digi broadband, the network icon show 7.2Mbps. Meaning that when I subscribe to Extreme package (download 2Mbps), I still can use my current package? because my modem can support up to 7.2Mbps? Please advice ! Thanks.

Thanks for your reply Raki. My PC is 24/7 on.  And yes, that includes my internet. So, my guess is I'd burn that 20GB in a week.

Now for the ultimate question, since I don't get charged on the Extreme package once I hit the 20GB cap, what's the speed like after the cap? A guy did reply saying it's 128kb...but that's like...12.8kbps, unless he meant 1.2 Mbps.   

Sorry for the many questions. I'm just sick and tired of Screamyx and I finally have the time to do something about it.

Just to check, if i have another DiGi SIM registered under EDGE, and i would like to use the SIM Card via the DiGi 3G modem, how should i configure it? Reason being there is area with EDGE coverage, so is worth to use EDGE simcard...

My modem is E230 btw...

very hard loading with screwmyx but fine loading it with digibb for me... (high speed low drag)hehe
like fruitie say, our normal router and modem does not have the ability to connect to 3g network(HSDPA,HSUPA etc). u need to either buy ur own or go with digi's.

if i using digi bb for 2week,i would like to terminate can i get back advance payment from digi?

The answer is no... if it's < 7days, then probably can but since it's over 2 weeks...

Currently am using iZZi..but feel want to terminate this week after finish my suffer 3months. So am planning for Digi Explore. Can I use HSPDA modem like pic below?

I wonder if VPN bypasses this throttling. Or even if Digi does practice this?

Yup, tested it and guaranteed it won't work XD
diginet is only meant for data unlimited cards, if use it with 3.5g, can't detect anything but once tested it with DiGi's 3.5G APN, it works
