I am an Ambassador user of DiGi, surely somehow I have relation to DiGi, the insider news is not as you said.
Video call will be rolled out, some said end of this year, some said some other time. I'm not that sure of the exact period for its roll out.
They are focusing on broadband at the moment, video call will come out later.

Ambassador user is never big, but in order to get Ambassador plan, your friends or relatives must be working as permanent employees for DiGi.
So, get my point now?

3G video call is the term.

I have tested Celcom, U-Mobile, Maxis and DiGi broadband before this. I'm currently using DiGi EDGE despite my area has coverage for DiGi broadband but the FUP makes me a little off.

1) Celcom - The widest coverage, you can online anywhere. It has 5GB FUP, before this I wasn't even throttled even for once, I was a happy user for 1 year until my nightmare appeared early this January. It throttled me non stop. Not forgetting, it had upload problem for months, and I needed that urgently because of constant email attachment. I terminated it in March.

2) U-Mobile - Download speed was quite OK to me but not the surfing part, quite a pain in ass when it comes to peak hours.

3) Maxis - I tried the one without FUP, everything was OK to me until I got frustrated because it disconnected very often.

4) DiGi - The best wireless broadband I have tried, DiGi gives as promised, speed good but again FUP turns me down.

Finally, I'm sticking to DiGi EDGE, it has no FUP, slow but stable and I only pay RM 30/month because of DiGi Campus package. Not really a problem for me because I do my most surfing via my company's Internet, our server is stored back in Japan.

Just for your kind information, FUP means fair usage policy. Once it is breached, speed will be throttled. Anyhow, the above experience is my personal comment, it has no relation with others and no intention to condemn the related parties either directly or indirectly.

MCMC makes a rule that all wireless broadband providers need to imply FUP on their services.
U-Mobile has 5GB too just that it isn't implied by U-Mobile yet.
Maxis Wireless broadband has 3GB FUP but the one I tried has no FUP because it isn't called as "wireless broadband"; it is known as Maxis Unlimited, previously known as Internet2Go.

Every wireless broadband services is not good in term of latency.

It was RM 78 and not RM 68.
Anyway, I was in that fair too and was contemplating about RM 88 Explore plan but too bad I withdrew my intention. Though I know the area I'm here now has very strong DiGi broadband coverage.
I'll see how if I'll eventually end up in this community.

Yes, RM 78. Anyway, it is RM 88 for one year with free modem.
Well, I'm not a subscriber just that I have the opportunity to test out.
I have tested all wireless broadband services and so far DiGi is the best. Will test out AMAX WiMax soon.

I believe DiGi will do something to counter congestion problem. If it isn't, then it will be in a big trouble because congestion is the main issue for other providers. Additionally, the most concerned issue by the subscribers.

As I said earlier, please use comma in your sentences and break them into few parts. You are making our life difficult by reading to your posts.

OK I got what you mean. Well, everyone is open to comment DiGi, they need these constructive comments and criticisms to improvise their service. Obviously only people like you who want to listen to only good compliments. Come on, wake up and face the world. Everything has flaws and nothing is perfect.

Do you expect DiGi spent on this board to listen to compliments only? For God's sake. There is a saying - Look before you leap. Anyway, in this context it means think wisely before you talk.

Of course its main objective is to allow a maximum exposure about DiGi broadband to the forummers here, after all LYN is Malaysia's No. 1 tech based forum.
Since they sponsor a board here, they expect compliment and criticism from the users.
It is definitely a channel to voice out our opinion as well as to get the latest update about DiGi broadband.

With regards of freedom of speech but any rude or flame bait statements posters will be punished accordance with LYN's R&R.

If I'm not mistaken the promotion in Maybank Treats Fair has no additional charge for usage too just that it will be capped to EDGE speed.

If I'm not mistaken it works such way for this kind of promotion.

I believe you were getting only EDGE speed at your area and not HSDPA or UMTS?
