juz wanna share some info with u, hope it will help to imagine the line ...
im using the 58rgt packge,average speed 1mbps~
usually playing HoN (@dota) no lag at all, but when it comes to fps game, the ping is quit high
compare to fixed line(tm=2digit ping, dgbb=3digit ping)...so always being kicked when played c.s for example

for the data, depend on the game itself i think, mine,1 hour playing hon = 50mb...something like dat la.....k
*
this is tonite speed...suck....

alright, will try it.

well, is there an idle time setting or something in the Digi Internet application?
see the disconnect/connect button in attachment
i notice that it disconnects itself after certain idle time, this is annoying
*
No there isn't an idle time setting in Digi Internet setting...disconnect itself is sometime the line problem or can said signal at your place...nothing to do with the setting.....

USM Penang is cover by DiGi BB & 3G as well and the speed is good, you can check at their website for coverage. I myself consider superb compare to other telco.... thumbup.gif

really? then its good. thanks for the reply smile.gif

yupe but sometimes when speed is slow depend on a lot of factor like for example a lots of people using in that area at the same time or network down or even raining heavily also can affect......that's my opinion lah....maybe some don't have that problem....

Tell you all honestly la, once HSBB arrives i will chop off my DiGi BB unless got better speed package, 1mbps is just too slow for DL anymore.

tonight the speed is getting from bad to worse from 8pm now 10.22pm. is it because its sunday nite? previously was averaging 100-130ms ping and 0.80-1.1Mb/s the whole time.

UPM Serdang. what you mean by checking with OCS? still new to digi bb. this is my 4th day getting it biggrin.gif

just check OCS, this is on top of account info: Sorry, this service is currently unavailable. Please contact Customer Service at 016-299 3333 or through our D'Chat service.

and my usage hasnt been update since 16th this month. everything is 0. should i call digi cust service?
*
you can use the D'Chat service to chat with their CS and ask them about your account info when they will update...or call direct to them...

mine took 2 to 3 week after chatting with them...

I thought we would be able to check our FUP usage on the dashboard after new dashboard & firmware update.
*
The only accuracy way to check your FUP usage is thru OCS portal...dashboard one is not that accurate......

hey, no prob bro smile.gif must be bad luck i get a defective sim. now its ok biggrin.gif

@anyone who uses digi E1550: do i need to register the Huawei warranty card inside the box of the modem for warranty? cause it says important on the card rclxub.gif

EDIT: just used my digi bb to play online game for 1 hour plus, and the modem heats up until its almost untouchable. i quickly take out the sim card, scare that it could be the heat that damage my sim. anyone using E1550 face heating up problem? until the modem almost untouchable.
*
woo bro at first your sim card now your modem...must be unlucky for you. I don't have heating issue with my modem. just warm and still able to hold it. Not like what you said almost untouchable....

If you have friend using DiGi BB, maybe can swap the modem and test it out....

sounds logical. will do biggrin.gif
not air cond room but definitely a well ventilated room. just now was so hot. now its ok. i realized it gets untouchable hot when the speed bogs down. guess i'll just reduce usage when speed becomes slower.
ya dam bad luck doh.gif luckily not digi problem. still believe in digi internet for now xD
*
good choice...DiGi now is the right choice....

set your security setting to WPA/WPA2 with MAC filtering and also provide a complicated phase word for the password....if not ppl will hack your line...
