i suggest forget about all those coverage crap... better to get a modem from a fren & test it especially during EVENING to NIGHT time prior to subscribing to Digi..

NOwadays a lot of marketing hype to snare us naive users via the telcos cheap & wide coverage crap talk...

Juz my 2 cents!!

I buy your 2 cents... thumbup.gif

you need to do a firmware upgrade to your modem in order to have the new connection manager which supports SMS.
More info here : http://www.digi.com.my/internet/broadband/userguide.html

Is it necessary or a must to upgrade the firmware when everything's is working fine?

If U feel it is necessary, then just upgrade it, maybe can improve speed n stability?
*
I thinking twice whether to upgrade or not....now seem okay if upgrade later cannot use, then how? can reserve back to original firmware?

My PPS not working, previously was ok, I think a$tro call ISP to block PPS. Not fair.

Yup yellow_bean say is correct, DIGI BB no contract, just need to pay the modem penalty nia, thats all.

Hi all, if my statement date is 16th of each month, does that mean my monthly quota will be reset to 0 on 16th or 17th? Or beginning or each month 1st? Need to know this so I can plan my usage...

Yes, APN is diginet.
This is the speedtest for 3G internet unlimited RM48
This is my wife postpaid with 3G internet unlimited.

The speed is the same with my Explore package. Only different is 3GB vs 10GB.

u are not right user for wireless broadband ... one day 6 GB is not acceptable at all ...

u are HOGGing the network ... if i am provider and know ur action of HOGging i will return ur money and discontinue ur service as soon as possible.

i STRONGLY recommend u if u want download so much and large files plssss use FIX LINE coz they don have data cap or FUP ( Fair usage Policy)

WIRELESS Broadband is not means for "REPLACEMENT OF" Fix Line Broadband . . .

check out his post
http://www.malaysianwireless.com/2009/11/m...r-everyone.html

hope everyone else whos reading this post ... regardless wat Wireless Provider u use ... don HOGG ... it is indeed not a good action for ur self as well as for others user in the same network ... pls Don Hogg OK Thnaks ALOT ...

in back of the true nature of human always want more ... pls lahhh be civilize a bit lahhh ... we are Educated ... don always have the thinking of "Pentingkan Diri Sendiri"

if u love DIGI don HOGG the network OK ???

Thanks ALOT ...

happi sharing and toward our mutual benefit to all Wireless User ... TQ

No more extreme plan! DiGi dem smart to remove them, 1 extreme plan is equal to 4 explore users, 4 x more profit.
