i'm in Malaysia for a month and searching for best telco to use prepaid and internet, but after read all threads, everybody gives negative feedback in the network connection and customer service..

I would like to ask, I was being blacklisted by Celcom due to unpaid payment. =.=, now I am not able to switch to any telco. I had just clear my payment in Celcom, will my name be removed from the blacklist immediately? Or do I need any proven letter from Celcom? I wish to subscribe Digi postpaid right now.

after u made the payment, ask them the letter.. better settle at celcom branch.. not kiosk.

this is my exp when i try to register new celcom line, i have RM5 debt with digi, so need to go to digi and then ask the clearance letter (maybe the system not update immediately after payment made)

DIGI is still better compare to celcom and Maxis brodband IMO...

eventhough i bypass quota alredy,but i can still surf the net smoothly,except for downloading of course

when i first subscribe digi internet, i am assigning with public IP. 2-3 months ago they decide to NAT the connetion, maybe because the increasing of users/subscribers. the problem of NAT is, some public IP that shared with maybe 100-200 users blacklisted by several host/server/site, for example, some irc servers, some forums, some newsgroup or some instant messaging. sometime i experiencing problem to log in into messaging system such as yahoo messenger.

after all, it is still a fair service, with it price, policy, and speed. they said they can give average download 700kbps, but i managed to get 900-950kbps constantly. only sometime experiencing signal swiching from hsdpa to edge. bad weather maybe.

can i use my digi broadband (explore package) for a smartphone & then connect it via wifi to my laptop for access to the net at the same time?

Is it legal for DiGi to keep charging me after my account being barred? how can they charge if no service is provided? few month ago.. I didn't pay for 2 month and they blocked my digi broadband... and after that, I am not being active for another 3 month since being blocked... (that makes it 5 month of no payment)

and my bill was RM300++

If they stated the credit limit is RM300, then why blocked after 2 month of no payment? which is less than RM300...

can they charge me for the 3 month of not using anything?

if your line is barred and not settle it immediatly, it will still charge you. This is normal to all service provider.
You should complaint earlier if you feel thier service not good, but not just ignore the bill. Later on they will blacklist you, then u can't apply for all telco.
So better terminate it if u don't want to use it anymore. Normally they will not ask u to pay full amount on the spot when u terminate it, they will ask u to wait for next statement. But still depend how they want to do with your account.

i stay kepong area, switch to DiGI since last year.
lastime quite satisfied with the broadband connection but now ...
the speed are unstable, isn't like before anymore
anyone facing this problem too?

I hav a old discovery day plan RM38 with 4GB quota.. just wondering, if i exceed the quota what happens? throttle or extra payment? cant seem to find any info on this from their website

Is there possible to insert the smart plan Sim card to wireless modem as broadband?

i just subscribed for digi discover 68.. i tried insert the sim into my iphone, it shows 3G sign and all but I cannot surf the net. the guy at the store said i can use it on my iphone as well but i can't. is there a setting or whatsoever needed so i can use it on my iphone?

i thought if you insert your sim into your phone..your phone itself acts as a modem while other phone can connect to it.. (tethering)

during my time, digi reception was so bad. during those day, celcom bb also not so stable.
