Of course, because Ipoh is under EDGE coverage, not 3G and HSDPA... so, what you get is EDGE speed, but i believe you still can surf smile.gif

guys i got a question, can our digi modem use with maxis bb sim card ? or it's lock to digi sim card only ?

Base on post here it says can be unlock, but do not state detail on how to unlock...

what model do u refering...e1550 can , since my celcom 3g sim card can be inserted into it, work then
...maxis also can la i think, unlock biggrin.gif

ya same as me...standard black for discover 3.6mbps...
e1550 if im not mistaken the dealer said all sim card can be inserted, not as vodafone

E160 also got micro sd slot right?... Why u jealous?? The speed will be the same... Both max 3.6mbps, both got micro sd slot. Just design a bit different...

If only for web browsing, I think EDGE is good enough... I tried that before and ok with the speed.

as i can see, my 3g@hsdpa celcom is quite same with the speed of edge, for surfing only ok meh...edge=celcom3g

My E160 also can insert celcom BB n maxis prepaid simcard but not maxis BB simcard!.. i think maxis give its cust special simcard la....

last time i try my maxisbb RM68 simcard into CSL modem, Huawei E220 also cant detect! only can use inside ZTE MF600 modem
