hi, i am on Explore 88 monthly quota is 10GB
already reach 9GB usage.

last night tried to download a big file (vista sp2 x64 version, size = 740MB)
but unable to download
tried to download the antivirus lates update also failed

later i use U mobile and no problem at all download the file.

could it be because i already near the monthly allocated quota.
that means when you reach the quota usage, you only can surf cannot download files?

additional info: I still can run utorrent, download speed is near 80KB/s (or 640kb/s)

Weird, up till now (from Apr 25) I still can't access these websites:-

• Rapidshare
  
• Megaupload
  
• Mediafire
  
• Hotfile
  
• and practically any file-hosting service
  

Coincidence? All the file-hosting can't be accessed. If I use RSIP, I can access up to the Free User/Premium User selection but can't download (the download will stall at "Starting...")

I've asked a few of my friends using DiGi Broadband to test it too but to no avail, none of them are able to access those mentioned websites.

I'm connecting from Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. I can access other (both international and local) websites but not those mentioned websites.

This increase for explorer package to 12GB applies to everyone?

Yea, but by right, that shouldn't hinder my web browsing experience.

I don't think it is right to block those websites when the quota kicks in. They already throttle the speed, why should they block websites too? It's not in their Terms and Condition to block websites when I reach my quota (is it?). As far as I know, the FUP is throttling speed, not blocking websites. This is seriously BS.

Really disappointing on DiGi side. Broadband not done right!!

Yes, if you read the pack, the prepaid internet service is only up to 384kbps.

yes digi stable for download/browsing but got upload problem.
What you can do is disconnect it, change the network to 2G/EDGE. Then connect it. Sure you will able to upload, any website.
I have this experience before, so i got no choice to terminate it...give me a lot of problem for upload even 10kb file.

I found this issue happen since Jan ( i terminate on March ).
Tried many places ( KL, USJ, Malacca, Kuching  also same upload problem ) look like until now still no improvement. I don't know how many out there encounter this problem.
Maybe not all users, but how come huh?  Starting was ok since i used it Aug 2009.

So maxis at least let me upload something. Only too little for thier quota.

download speed is slower than upload speed! 
note: my usage at the moment is less than 10% of the 10GB quota.
and it is connected at HSDPA not Edge nor gprs.

every month after that..

for rm88 package will go back to standard rate at RM108 after 1 year, not rm98.

planning to get digi BB since i will move to pelangi utama in BU. anybody using it there?

Maybe u can try writing in to Digi on the OCS.
They replied quite quickly to a query of mine previously.
