The question is why change your filter when your filter is still new? Why don't you run your car in for 5k or 10k before doing that?

Be aware when you change the default air-filter, the following issues may occur:

1. Poorer FC as a result of a sudden burst of more power wink.gif
2. Slightly noiser revving that will probably intrude into the cabin
3. Warranty issues with Honda - maybe?
4. Honda service technician may accidentally toss away your new filter when it's time to replace the air filter

Well.. for me, I'm well aware of the repercussions of aftermarket equipments and also to note that HM only changes its air filter at 10k mileage (correct me if i'm wrong), just a little itchy fingers. On your concerns tho

1. FC might decide to take a turn for the worst since I might get a bit heavy footed, but that's not really the issue for me. The power increase will be minimal at best.
2. For drop-in direct replacement, no difference in sound (unless I opt for the open pod)
3. Have checked with service centre guys, no warranty issues (or that they have heard of with K&N or HKS, at least)
4. Hence the "Stop" sticker that will be pasted on the air-box. If they decide to throw them away, I'll make them put on a new one, at their own expense for being blind..

I guess to me, the only concern is the cost. But since I'm not going all out to modify this car extensively.. think a little spoiling myself is alright smile.gif

no.2 sure will have some sound difference, i can guarantee you that - because the flow to your engine is less restricted hence the rev is louder.
no.4 even if they change - I doubt you would be able to tell the difference, unless you actually bother opening the bonnet everytime to check the filter or see if the sticker is broken. Once you drive your car for over 20k km, you'd probably be immune to the effect already. I know I was with the H&K filter, after 20k or 30k km, really can't care less liao if they change or not laugh.gif

got any website or pic?

Stoplock is a steering wheel but unlike other ordinary lock it is of a very high quality and looks elegant. You can find it on Tesco, Carrefour and a lot of car accessory shops are selling this lock.

maybe a little sound difference, but not much. used both open pod and drop in direct replacement before. but well, to me..perhaps more sound is nicer. a little more psychological ganas smile.gif i think i'll make it a habit (or at least try) to take a look after everytime i service the car...i usually stick around the service center previously..

THe PPS is good ur car will shine (like new) for 3 years or more..if not..they wil re-treatment ur car again..
The rough previously i mention was the paint (which caused by working place spraying paint), which made my car surface become very rough (like sand paper)..after some re-treatment process i done for today, it bcome smooth..
In my exprience, after a few wash, the surface of the car wont be as smooth as the 1st day u done ur PPS..it will not to rough (like sand paper)..just normal surface that u saw many cars is..but ur car will be more shine then other cars (without PPS),the shine quality just like after u polish ur car..this is according to my exprience so far..i done PPS for almost 1 month..other then paint problem (which already solved today) nothing much problem on PPS so far..
