U R sooo rite. Northern area has so many stingy SA!!! Gotta slam them when the Honda Survey Centre call me. Haha, wait and see... no incentive trip for my SA many years to come!

Btw, Can all members comment on RPM meter? When in idle mode (neutral), the RPM meter is not down to 0, is that normal?
*
When in idle, RPM meter will NEVER go down to 0. It's normal. 0 means engine not running. Auto or manual car is the same. Don't mind me asking but is this your first car?

Congrats on your ride!

Just got a word from my bro there is this guy selling K&N drop-in air filter for our rides. Each air filter cost RM245 and the seller is based somewhere in the southern region. Anyone interested to do a bulk purchased? We might be able to get a discount based on the number of orders.
*
Hi bro, does your source have for FD1 as well? If yes, what is the price? Will be interested in the GB.. rclxms.gif

Here's your pic of the Aorto Lock's waveblade key :

user posted image

For more info on the lock and it's GB, please refer to HC3 thread (click on the link on my sig). Will repost the info on the GB there due to server crash.

P/s : Locktech does not come with LED and they have change it's name to VisitLock. Visitlock is made locally and I've seen the build quality of it and was not impressed.

Thanks bro for the info icon_rolleyes.gif

yes this what he said too.. tat's y i'm checking whether damansara is the only branch that never give out freebies.. even bandar sri damansara branch do give out disc.. just 3 km away..
btw, if we get the car end of mar, are we still entitled for the RM625 rebate as we need to wait for another week probably apr to claim from post office? if we miss it then it's too bad cos we can use the money to install lock etc..

The price will not vary that much. But it is okay as compared to the prices other shops quote in the Sunway area (I've checked before).
For the Civic, I think it's more expensive (cos of the size). I will ask him.

I think that's 'cos it takes time for the system to be updated.
I haven't claimed by rebate too.
Does anybody know whether the Post Office is open this Saturday? ie. 28 February??

People,

Just got my S Spec PMM. but my SA didnt fulfill his promise of giving me  chrome key chain, mugs and full tank of petrol (told me he filled up rm 30 - but impossible since the fuel tank meter shown only 1/8 level of fuel innit!) But i was really tired 2 argue yesterday and just took my car. So basically I only got

1. rm625 cash rebat (which according to him; only can claim fr the post office a week after registration - any truth of diz?)
2. window visor - looks good, tho.

other than dat, NADA.

*so jealous of hearing some of us getting sooooooo many goodies/rebates!
*
For the RM625 rebate, you need to collect in post office. Normally, SA will pay the roadtax in JPJ after registration. Hence, you need to wait for 1 week for JPJ to synchronise post office's system.

If you pay your road tax in post office, you can collect immediately. Just collect at the same counter you're paying road tax. If you jump to another counter, you've to wait for 1 week.
Why is it so? Because the moment you pay your road tax, your data is still on the screen. If you jump to another counter, then your data will disappear.

This is my 2nd car. Traded in my faithful atoz for NHC. Atoz got no RPM on d dashboard. Only fuel indicator, speedometer and temperature meter.

BTW, when i received my car it shown that it has been 'rolling' for 13km. So quite ok lor since i heard the average km when people receive their car was 30km. I'm having a 800km trip next week, so quite afraid i might reached more than 1000km b4 my 1st service. Izzit acceptable or not ah??? Plus, i'll b using PLUS highway, so can i 'press' more than 100km/h? I heard it's not good before the 1000k service. Please advice.

Yes, it's fine to reach > 1000 km before your 1st service. I did mine when it hit 1.2k mileage
It's ok to press > 100 km/h, contrary to some ppl's belief.
Just try not to hit 4k rpm, and no sudden acceleration (jerking) would be preferable.
but ur brakes, since the pads are new..you are recommended to brake smoothly for the first 300km (as in ur car manual)

It's true that HM doesn't technically give a discount.
It's actually an embedded discount, depending on the SA (through its incentive / commission program).
This is done so that the price of the car, for example RM85k and RM90k can be maintained without
having the prices to fluctuate and more importantly "sustaining" that particular price so that in the future,
when future models are being launched, they can increase the price again..everybody know too well
that if prices go up, everybody will complain.. hence this sorta 'indirect discount'.

usually during good times (i.e. new and successful car launches), SAs are quite reluctant to give discounts
due to overwhelming demand (think the Demand and Supply rule of Economics) over supply (production).
So, they can afford to maintain that price 'cos the demand will outstrip the supply. However at bad times like this,
the demand would've dropped and SAs would opt to reduce their incentives by 'giving it back' to the buyers.. in turn
for sales.

in conclusion?
it depends on how desperate ur SA is to clinch the sales smile.gif
