wow another addition to the apdc club.. btw.. how much tension / string you'll use for the aeropro drive cortex ? i know a fren using BB luxilon 16L @ 53lbs.

you interested ? coz i bought already but seem like not that ngam me. but still trying stage. just played 3 sessions. welcome to come over n test it out if you are interested. bought it as a package.. 4d300tour racket + upgrade standard strings to luxilon strings + 6racket non-pvc bag (latest i think) .. all in rm690. the 4d300 and 4d300tour is same price but don't think the other models are the same price.

what to do .. this malaysia don't have demo racket practice, so shops don't offer ppl rackets to test it out before buying. spent more than 1k actually coz in a about 1mth alone i bought 2units of k6.1s but in end also found it not that all-rounded for me. sold n rugi there too. bought this 4d300T also told the boss that it's a big gamble coz i never tested it before.. 50/50. well i won't say i don't like it at all coz it's very precise and accurate for a control player but i'm more towards hitting the shxt out of the ball. lol

yah well as i said.. i'm still trying out the racket and giving it a chance to impress me.. i decided to also buy the apdc just as a spare (coz i've used it before and luv it. so when all else fails i can fall back to that racket).

p/s: anybody found the pro supex blue gear in malaysia ? wondering tenniswarehouse selling or not else can tumpang.

design is good coz i don't like the prev older model flashy / shiny red bag. this one is good and darker red.

yah we can compare. the pattern is 18x20. i strung it with luxilon BB @ 53lbs. what's your tension ? i shud hav called you the other day to ask abt your tension .. coz i think the headsize is similar 98sq.

i'm just thinking actually .. should i just order online fr ebay ? coz i saw this seller selling it. coz if i go sinpgaore also need to meet up with him n arrange location / mrt. might in the end be more costly and time consuming rather than just pay the shipping of rm10 ($2.5 USD).

so maybe if anybody wants it we can get it together so shipping can split and reduce a bit ..lol

the strings i saw i think if i'm not mistaken about S$11.99 + usd2.5 shipping... more will be cheaper on shipping i think...


side note : how does it compare with like Pro Hurricane tour 17? coz i read it's octagonal shape and the blue gear is hexagonal shape ?

yah dunno just can't get into the weight balance in terms of my swing timing.

but each wrong tension (trial and error) is costly haha especially when you are getting a new racket with a different headsize then gotta fine tune and look for the suitable tension. pokai also lol.

haha never thought of that.. good idea. next time should just get the standard string they provide and later only upgrade the string. but should i just get back a cheap poly so that next time use the luxilon more expensive poly ? i'm trying to say, if ultimately i wanan get a poly string, should the cheaper string also follow poly or can use syn etc ?

well actually i used before babolat pro hurricane the tour version 17gauge. but that was 2yrs ago, forgotten the feel already. suppose to be with the octagonal shape thingy but i can't remember was the spin good. trying to compare it with the luxilon spin. not sure which one gives a better spin potential.

just google it lah ... it's called the NTRP ratings... based on skill level to rate yourself.

wow, i'm actually very keen to test out the pro supex blue gear. but it's not available locally only in singapore (which i'll be trying to get when i get down there next mth). i tried looking for zo-twist also but can't find it.

anyways i found one shop nearby selling the topspin cyberblue 1.27 (blue color). so wondering if it's a worthy try for the apdc. as now contemplating cyberblue or the luxilon spin (both never tried before). what do you think ? and what tension would you recommend ? though i know is very subjective. my playing style is that i luv hitting it hard with quite a big swing.
