Well, from that one session of playing with the o3 speedport red (just got it yesterday) and also about 1session also with my newly bought apdc as well .. haha.. i must say that the initial reaction on the speedport red is a bit higher than the apdc. However i must also stress that i think the tension of my apdc is a bit too high for my liking, as i wanted to strung it at 53lbs but was told otherwise by the shop stringer. so tried it luxilon alu spin @ 55lbs. So i might need to hit it a few more times to get it sweeter and run in the strings for the apdc. so can't be fair if i give it a direct comparison now. I'll update you on the apdc maybe by next week once i break in the racket more. on another side note, i've tried carto's apdc @ 53lbs luxilon alu spin a few times and i kinda like the setup. not too stiff / harsh on the arm and can generate killer spins. I'm just guessing that both rackets do have their different characteristics in terms of swing style too as the apdc i need to always spin it proper to go in the court but the o3 red is almost so easy to hit and to put it away.

Wow since trying out the EXO3 Grahite 100 and now this sppeedport Red i change my stance on Prince being a lousy. So i'm definitely curious on the EXO3 Red as well.. lol

Wahhh... too bad Gamma Malaysia doens't have Zo-Twist, i did ask one of the dealer of Gamma here in Malaysia. He showed me the list of Gamma strings offered my Gamma M'sia and really in their price list no Zo-Twist n Zo-magic .. However i put in a special request asking him to ask Gamma to bring in Zo-twist. hehe.. Hopefully can be realized.

Anyways i've reserved some Technifibre Blackcode for meself next week (when their stock arrives)

p/s: btw guess how much is a Wilson Digital Stringing machine ? (before discount : rm20K) lol.

btw i just strung the Topspin cyberblue @ 55lbs mains & 53lbs cross on my babolat. Wow i must say it's very very comfortable and soft. coz i have one other babolat racket (both 100sqin) with luxilon alu spin @ 55lbs. and that felt very harsh and hard, not in terms of the tension but the feel of it. feels very rigid on impact when the balls hit the stringbed. but this cyberblue feels so much subdued but still dish out an incredible touch-feel spin. truly unexpectedly comfortable. i must say praetorian really knows his strings well..

next can't wait for the blackcode.. have already ordered 2 pieces and should be here by end of the week. now i just wanna find out how it compares with the pentagonal alu spin which by now i come to dislike the stiffness of it.

oppss i paiseh wanna say .... i just gotten myself a pure drive roddict GT .. lolx (oh oh sure kena flame already later). so basically now i have 2 rackets only. the apdc & pdrgt. well sure ppll will say stick to one stick blah blah blah ... but for me.. i just enjoy trying out new racket though skillwise i'm not up there. but it's just fun to test out new rackets coz i'm not that serious into gaming / matches but rather to have fun whacking the shit out of the ball.. and trying out new things ..

topper is selling for rm530.. it felt easier to swing than the apdc but i'm still very skeptical coz i used the cyberblue on the pdrgt @ 55lbs..which is so much comfortable compared to my apdc which i strung with the luxilon alu spin@55lbs. so i can't give an accurate picture on the feel as of yet. though i'm not saying luxilon is not good but so far my only positive experience with luxilon is the 18gauge ace 113 which is comfortable and nice to hit but trying the alu power 16, alu rough.. don't really like the harsh feeling of impact. too stiff.



o3sp red still have. .. u interested in the o3red ? hehe.. somebody also very interested to get it off my hands. if somebody buys it.. prob will get the exo3red for her. (so can get to play with that too ..keke)

hey bro... o3red speedport actually i bought fr a fren. quite good condition considering he doens't play tennis that often. i took it off his hands for rm300 w/o string. coz he didn't bother to string it back the last time the string broke. so i strung it up with some prince hybrid for another rm45 or so .. so it's considered 2nd hand.. not 3rd/4th hand ..lol... have been using it for 1week or so ..
well u tell me what you think is reasonable ?

wah i'm getting loads of PMs .. even the guy selling the black and white o3 also interested to get this red after he sold his..


btw the exo3 red i haven't found the absolute good price yet.. all giving me on the high rm600++. and worst of all no stock gotta order. so i din bother. Prince M'sia told me that they'll get back the demo exo3red racket and will let me know when i can go pick up for a demo.

Added on July 7, 2009, 3:40 pmhaha you were @ topper. damn shud hav gone there just now .. i just brought a fren down who after playing with my rackets yesterday was so tempted to change his old Wilson K4 .. that he dragged me down to Ultimate. he got the puredrive gt non-roddick and strung it with the luxilon ace 112 at 57/55lbs. so will hav a try on the non-rodd gt later..lolx.

btw the cyberblue i got it from d'sara uptown.

like i say .. i like it so far.. but hard to compare if you ask do i like it more than the apdc. coz i think my apdc string the luxilon spin sux-arse. So i'll reserve my judgment till i have them changed to a similar string ... but i wud say it feels good and solid.

that's wat i'm saying... even tho it's rated stiff .. but when i play it... doesn't feel stiff at all.. so my first instinct is to think that the cyberblue is good (from praetorian's short review of it). saying that it's comfortable and ez on the arm. even i played it yesterday without dampener and it still feels soft. my apdc feels harsh and stiff.. i'll need to find out once and for all soon whether is it due to the luxilon strings..

i have tried stringing my APDC with LUXILON ALU SPIN @ 55lbs. But feels very harsh and stiff and definitely not enjoying it that much.

However i strung the other PDRGT with TOPSPIN CYBERBLUE @ 55mains/53cross lbs. Feels very very comfortable and can do without dampener too. Me very likey.


So now my question is coz i never tried Tecnifibre Blackcode before but getting it end of the week. How much should i string the APDC to have the similar feel ? Coz i mean diff strings hav diff characteristics and feel. So i'm not sure to get that feel of my other racket, should i string the APDC @ 55lbs ? or go down 53lbs ? or maybe blackcode is soft enough that i can follow the TOPSPIN CYBERBLUE @ 55mains/53cross ?
