is the pic original resolution? seems to be very clear..

as in overall, w995 is better than C905, but other than xenon flash, what else C905 have and w995 dont have? sry, currently still nokia user, long time didnt touch SE phones ady.. gotta brush up a bit..

My wifi is working perfectly in Starbucks but when I'm using other connection like D-link and some random connection I can't seem to go on the internet still even if it's connected.
Is it normal?
Or do I have to set some settings so I could use all connections?

Finally, just got my new W995 silver....everything works fine. Just that the slider is a bit wobbly when it slides open, when pressing the lower part of the top slider, it has free play. I tried with other 3 sets also the same.

Hi, wanna ask how come the video from youtube totally pitch black? I can't seem to watch youtube from my w995. Btw my firmware is R1GA026

I just got mine 2 days ago, also on R1GA. No problem with the youtube...I connect to my home's WIFI, using standard browser and also the Youtube Application...

You use the browser or application? Try using the application and see if it is still black.

Yes, I used the application. Its black from the starting of the video till end. No sound also

Something tells me your settings are all screwed up. I'd say the most probable solution is a reflash, and then use setup wizard to download your internet settings, 100% fool proof

It's all about knowing the phone and seizing the moment I shot the first photo while stopping at the traffic light, you can actually see the red light on the extreme right lol. This is why I prefer a good camphone to DSLRs, I bring my phone everywhere I go so better chance to shoot cool stuff

What blacklizard said is right. W595 hardware is very different than W995. Unfortunately no amount of software modding or tinkering with the settings can make them similar. Plus, W995 was a multimedia flagship so it's been blessed with a good cam module But you can still experiment with your W595 like I do to get the best out of it and results might surprise you

the cam on 8 mp can zoom or not?

i have been using W995 ap for about one month liao.. overall is just like what most users have claim about tis phone. just hav something to add here.. =)

1. yes the camera quality is gud n satisfying. however due to the plastic cover, when taking photo at dark places (require flash) then the photo quality would be bad. i found out its due to the reflection of the plastic cover. so everytime when taking photo i need to remove the cover n its vy annoying. but still i need the plastic cover to protect my hp..

2. the sony pc suite sometimes hang when transfering large files.. using sony pc suite 6.0

3. for gps, i tried out this n it works well.. it wouldnt be charged. but it will be charged when need to search a location eg 'grand paragon hotel' n find ways to get there (from current location to grand paragon hotel), its just cost me few cents oni about 10cents i think..

4. when in slides open state it does wobble a bit.. same as my frens W705. its a little annoying though when typing sms need to use the arrow/D pad. >_< my frens de C905 doesnt hav tis problem though..
