does anybody know how to configure W995 to be able to connect to wireless with WPA2-enterprise security?

my house is using WPA2-personal security and it only asks me to key in the password. but when i tried to connect to my University's wireless, it can't detect any wireless network unless I manually configuring it. but still, I can't connect to the wireless.

Sayang. How it come out? You scratch it by accident?

Anyway I've discovered a little annoying thing about W995. I'm not sure if it's just W995 or all Sony Ericsson phones, but does the message tone has a time limit? I chose a 17-second MP3 for my "Message alert" but whenever I receive a SMS, it only plays about three-quarters of it.

What red to brown?

for ours, we use a2uploader..
if ur phone has brown certificate, u r luck because u can patch ur phone..
red cert need to convert to brown if wanna patch..

you can click at my signature se mod db.. go to software and download the a2uploader..
after connected, click identify to show ur phone details..

hahaa.. im new to db3150 [is that true] modding la..
mostly my DB contains db2020 files lol..

using far cxc can patch red cert or not?

W995 is DB 3210 mate, and I use A2uploader as well. Not anymore though as I prefer everything to be stock and barrel

As for GPS, afaik if you don't preload your maps then it'll download the maps as you go and this is where data charges will incur. I think preloaded maps do need subscription, correct me if I'm wrong. But if you have unlimited data plan then it's absolutely free

Your W595 need to be CID 52, then you can covert it to brown and patch it for free.
If your W595 is CID 53, you need to pay to covert to brown

Disable your AV software before downloading. the_laser uses themidia encryption to prevent people stealing the sources and loaders of his A2uploader. AV software recognises this as virus/trojan horse but this is a false alarm. This software is completely safe.

hurmmm.. i think there are two menus.. i mean the usb one..

before i update the firmware via seus, when we connected a USB to the phone, a menu will prompt right whether to choose phone connection, file transfer etc..

but after updated the phone,  there is a default mode.. it means, when you set the phone mode as default mde, it will always connected as phone mode when u connect to PC.. and i dont see there is any way we can change to mode file transfer without change the default mode to file transffer..

wallaweii.. have u tried loco roco game with w995? it was soo cool.. hahaa. like playing it on psp..
