What are the prices for ori and ap for both sets respectively?

Just two days I asked in Tropicana City Mall at random. AP price is a little unbelieveable RM1599 and Midland set is RM1680.

How abt the C905? The only thing I dislike about the C905 is the lack of 3.5mm port..

i think yeah.. in LYN.. they like to do a lot of promo during big festive.. just wait..

I managed to ask that too. RM1380 for Midland set and RM12xx for the AP set (kinda forgotten exactly how much is the AP set but I remember that guy told me was RM12xx) I've gotten to another place to ask, Midland set can get for RM1299 (nego) and RM1180 or something like that for AP.

Technically the price would drop. Christmas is coming, New Year is coming and CNY is also coming. But still haven't made up my mind which one to go for. I need personal feedbacks from this W995 and the C905

during the holiday price will drop aa? that's a good thing to hear... must be firm!! hikaru which w995 is more pleasant to call.. hehe.. easier ti be angau to.. hahaha.. juz wondering bout the GPS app.. r we going to be charged if we use that? we have to connect to internet to use it eh? my mum's N86 stated we have to connect to internet to activate.. neva use it though..

Normally price here in LYN is a little lower during the festive seasons. Watch out for the Christmas. I am sure prices are going down then.

I think GPS should be charged right? Any users here can confirm that?

i'M not sure with acronyms used by forumers here.. what is LYN? LOWYAT NET? Or just plain lowyat plaza? gotta search there la to survey he price if really got offer... how can we differentiate the AP with ori aa?

i don't have much to complain about this phone, but the volume rocker is a bit small (a bit difficult to use compare to my w810i) but I think it is not a big problem, as its sound quality is quite good, with a 8.1 camera, wifi and an attrative look.

Charged, yes unless you use wifi which unfortunately won't follow you around where you're going. It would be free if you pre-load the map first (download at home with wifi to avoid real time data charges ie. map downloading by the GPS while on the move) but for the bundled app. (Wayfinder Navigator) you need to subscribe to be able to pre-load maps if I'm not mistaken. And make sure you disable aGPS because the assisted position lock in by your network provider will incur data charges too.

The user interface is the usual SE UI right? What about the construction of the phone mainly the slider. Is it slider solid like those found in Samsung and Nokia N95, N96, 5610, N85? Care to comment on the build quality too?

Thanks. I found out interesting links some of the users post up regarding the pre-loaded maps. Speaking of the maps the one you are talking about it's similar to using Google Maps except you have already downloaded it in the phone?

W995 is way sexier. Hope it drops to less than RM1500 for Ori during CNY =)

If you're planning on getting it next year, there will be stock. Phone models don't go out of production so quickly unless it has really bad sales records around the globe. I am also planning to get this phone next year sometime during CNY or after CNY.

You reckon phones in Singapore/China/Hongkong will be cheaper during CNY? No international warranty eh?
