beware OEM sound quality, very big different compare to original
head to audiophile to read more
2 years back, PC Fair (creative booth) selling around the same price. but last year no more.

i suggest invest abit more on Mylar IEM headset, around RM170
reasonable price with good quality
if u dont like IEM, go for PK2... also around the same price
fyi, both r entry level on audiophile section tongue.gif

Yes yes!!! That's true. But you might wanna check with some Mylars coz the N82 might not be able to reproduce sound quality of a pair of Mylars up to the expected audiophile level. Im using a pair of Sennheiser PX100 and Shure SE110. I notice that the PX100 performs relatively good (but needs more amp. Have to set volume to around 60% for my normal usage) and SE110 is just average.

wink.gif i bought my from AP distributor directly...

btw anyone hv any prob from AP, many ppl said AP signal weaker than orig
but i didnt hv this prob, wats the reason behind this?
*
AP sets are equally as good as original sets aside from the warranty. Think about it. How many times would you actually claim the warranty?

In my history of mobiles:

NK 6670-NK N70- SE P990i - NK N82

All were AP sets. Never claimed warranty before. Never died on me before. All bought from the same shop of course tongue.gif AND I have thai alphabets of my NK6670 and N82's keypad. Possibly shipped from Thailand. But all is good so far. Save at least Rm200 compared to ori sets. Just my opinion cool.gif

I heard the keypad(buttons) is a little hard to type on..is it true? what about those with bigger fingers?
*
Same thing which troubled me when I was considering this phone. But no regrets at all. Once you're use to it u can even type without looking at the keypad (even with such tiny keys).

Oh and guys I need an opinion. The camera shutter serves well as a form of protection of the camera lens. However after some time dust seems to collect in the space around the lens. Really hate this......... sweat.gif

well.. maybe vacuum it.. just givin out ideas..

i like phones without the manual cover because faster to take pictures (no need to open cover first) and easier to clean because it's quite flat like n95 8gb. but need to take care because it is much easier to be scratched.

n82 on the other hand has protection from scratching which is really good but it does collect dust in the cover. both got it's pros and cons.

Yea same goes to screens which are flush with the face of the housing. Once in awhile I use a camera lens blower to blow out the dust but after 2 days or so the dust starts to buildup again..... Zzzz

Guys...anyway to longer my n82 battery life ?
have to charge it everyday and the battery runs out fast...

Try to make sure no apps are allowed to run in the background and that you exit them properly (hold the menu key to display minimized apps) and try setting network mode to GSM mode only if you are not using 3G. Seems to improve a little on my part.

so fast collect dust? u always leave ur lens open?
or u always take pix?

*
No man. Well not recently at least. My camera slider died on me sweat.gif
In the UK at the moment. Probably coz the air here isn't as humid as Msia so the dust buildup is faster whistling.gif

Hey, do u guys de N82 got dirt squeeze inside ?? i have some dirt at my front camera...too bad...how can i get rid of it??
*
I have dirt everywhere IN my N82. I didn't open up the memory card slot for quite awhile and when I did it was like opening a very old treasure chest sweat.gif

Same goes with my camera slider switch. Dust seems to collect in the rail of the slider switch rclxub.gif

Used a cotton bud and tried to clean as much as i can. I think the dust could be one of the causes of my non-functional camera slider cry.gif

im afraid of being taken away by teacher during spot check...hehe..

Oh man u remind me of the good old days. LOL. Ok tell u what I did back then. I went to the tailor to make an extra pocket around the waist area of my school trousers. Similar to the kind of pockets which are found just behind the belt slot around the waist on tailor made trousers. Costs like Rm6 when I went to make it tongue.gif

2 good things to note. Teachers/Prefects only check around the trousers pockets so anything that i put into my waist pocket are practically unseen and untouched (well at least in my school la blush.gif ). Second thing is that you can be sure no pick pocket can get their hands on the precious N82 unless a thief steals your pants sweat.gif
